Elephant Beach Club — Restaurant in Ko Samui

Read all the reviews about the place, including bad ones, and thought the bads were about a different place. I went to all of the beach clubs and found this one the most attractive from all perspectives. 1. the minimum spend of 400 Baht is very fair considering you get a good quality bed, a towel and service/ level of security 2. the prices are ok as well because this is part of a hotel and you get similar of higher prices elsewhere , except for really cheap stuff but then I don’t think it’s significantly different from similar style places. 3. the music is very relaxing , chill/ bossa nova style and not loud and no boom boom during the day like in many (much more expensive ) clubs. 4. the menu is ok. They got enough variety and some healthy options. Plus is has a French twist so you can order escargot or other French style dishes if tired of Thai or your typical beach menu choices. Even tempura was very good , no reused oil and felt light - mussels , calamari, shrimp were very well prepared and tasty. 5. the service is very good. Even though I was not their hotel guest, they were extremely friendly and not discriminative, I found the service was quick enough for me. 6. The vendors on the beach aren’t as annoying as some write and the place cannot be blamed for outside vendors anyway because in Thailand you cannot own a private beach and forbid others to come through. But the staff is constantly around and therefore it’s very secure. I went away for massages and for walks and left my bag by the beach bed and had no issues. When the rain happened and I was away, they took my belongings and securely stored at a nice table in a restaurant. 7. they are the only beach club in this area with floating bean bags in the water to climb on and listen to relaxing music from the water , which was nice when it was a bit too hot. Cannot judge hookah or cocktails because I don’t drink and don’t smoke shisha. 8. people are fine too. Many French. Everyone is calm, nobody around smoked weed , so no smell and many were just chilling with a book. Really it was the only place I found worth coming back to again and again and had a really wonderful relaxed time here during daytime. They also offer massages with a competitive pricing. I was on vacation in Koh Samui for ten days and for almost every day I attended this Beach Club, both during the day to enjoy the sea and in the evening for a relaxing evening by the sea with a drink. The restaurant is located in a side street of Chaweng beach and overlooks the beach (near the ark bar). It looks very elegant and refined. To use the sunbeds which are very comfortable and umbrellas with towels for the sea and the pool, you need to spend a minimum of 400 BATH per person in the bar / restaurant, where they offer a variety of very good products and, in my opinion, very good drinks (I can say that drink prices are slightly higher than normal, but considering the location, they are worth it). The beach, restaurant, and bar are all very clean and peaceful. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, always with a smile on their teeth. In my opinion it is the most elegant and cleanest club in Chaweng, and I will definitely go back. In the evening on the beach you can relax with excellent drinks, sitting on large cushions, watching the fire show starting at 10.00 pm.

I put four stars for the cleaning of the swimming pool which should be much improved, I have never seen a person cleaning with a broom, causing the leaves or various debris to end up in the water (I found a handkerchief, many leaves in the water, lots of sand and above all some white stones inside the pool that I stepped on and they hurt me, they had probably been thrown by some childrens playing there). I hope the cleaning of the pool could be improved, every now and then someone has to sweep the broom, I've never seen this done during the day. In additional, the owner should do something with the drug dealers on the beach, every 10 minutes someone come and offer that!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Elephant Beach Club and restaurant during my trip to Koh Samui, and I must say, it was an absolutely amazing experience! After finishing my meal, I made my way to the beach club area, which was equally impressive. The club had a great atmosphere with comfortable loungers, a gorgeous pool, and a fun beachside bar. The staff was attentive and always ready to help with anything I needed, making me feel truly pampered.
