I am really dissappointed with their services, when you are in a service industry you must know few basic things.
If you are a Family or a Group Travelling please avoid this restro,I visited them earlier but now they have dipped their quality in all respect specially behaviour towards conumers.
I ordered a set menu cost THB 350 ( In a NON AC Restro ) that was having
1.Samosa and Water 2.Chicken Tikka Masala 3.Roti 2 4.Rice ( One fifth of actual portion )
I asked them separate Dal ( THB 150 ) along with what was there in set menu.
THEY DID NOT PROVIDED CHICKEN TIKKA and when I informed them they say it was a confusion,I was fine and asked them to bill for the product I took separately.
Like Roti THB 40 X 2 = THB 80 DAL = THB 150 RAITA = THB 70 WATER = THB 10
They said separate billing is not possible as billing is done in systenand charged me THB 420 .
You have generated a NON VAT bill and you are saying it cannot be rectified ?
I think you should realize the Value for Money concept and be humble with Indian guest who are running the show.
There are many other option in Samui plesse use them and...
Read moreMy experience at Curry Pot Indian Restaurant in Chaweng was okay but didn’t quite leave a lasting impression. The location on Chaweng Beach Road is convenient, and the atmosphere feels cozy with a casual, welcoming vibe. I ordered the Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan, which were decent—the curry had a good creamy texture, and the naan was fresh, though the flavors weren’t as bold as I’d hoped. The staff were friendly and quick, and it’s nice that they offer vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and halal options, plus free delivery for nearby areas. That said, the meal felt a bit standard for an Indian restaurant, and I was expecting something more memorable given the high ratings. The presentation of the dishes was average, and while the portions were generous, the overall experience didn’t stand out compared to other Indian spots I’ve tried. The restaurant’s setting in a busy alley can feel a bit hectic with scooters passing by. I’ve attached a few photos of the food and the dining area to show what it’s like. It’s a solid choice if you’re craving Indian food in Chaweng, but it’s not a must-visit unless...
Read moreThe Curry Pot located just off Chaweng's main drag, is a reasonably spacious restaurant, though overly bright and a bit tacky in design - think huge mirrors on either side of the hall. The food, though, is authentically Indian, it makes no concession to foreign palates. It was dinner time and I couldn't resist the vegetable samosa on the menu, since I'd been out of India for over a month, and majorly missing Indian food. For the main course, I preferred mixed vegetables and naan. The vegetable samosas were microwaved, not fried,, making this a wonderful, nutritious option. It came with slices of carrots and a sprinkling of cabbage. The mixed vegetables were a bit rich, thick fatty gravy, but tasty nevertheless. A group of Indian diners was fairly noisy, and that was a bit annoying. However, firang diners didn't seem to mind this...
