Marine Bar — Restaurant in Ko Samui

The Marine Bar is way more than just a bar.

Every time we are greeted like family with a warm embrace and the friendliest smiles.

Our friends spectacles needed a tiny screw replacement and Kas took his glasses to the nearest optical store and arranged for the repair and wouldn't accept any payment.

A few days ago I twisted my ankle badly. Upon seeing me on crutches and my ankle wrapped up, Kas pulled the bandages off and massaged very gently a balm into my ankle for me. She re-wrapped it in a far better way than I ever could and suggested a possible hospital visit if it's still troubling me tomorrow.

I have to compliment the Marine Bar's laundry service as well, the turnaround time is super quick, the clean washing smells divine and is very reasonably priced.

On another occasion I was having a conversation about all things massage and energy healing which I do at home in Australia. We discussed higher sources, both Lin and Cas mentioned the Buddha Doctor who heals Buddha and showed me the most incredible deity for me to add to my massage room. They ordered online for me this beautiful statue and gifted it to me to take home to infuse my healing space with it's divine energy. I feel so incredibly blessed.

You'll be made to feel...

I wanted to play pool with my son (11 years old). They had 0 customers when we came in 6 in the evening. The woman in the bar came running to the pool table, saying that my son was the only one who was allowed to play because we only bought one item from the bar....they would rather have 0 customers than 2.. They where smiling when we walked out....

the coctails prices were very high. we asked if its a happy hour time (as all other surrunding bars). they replyed YES. When pay time came we were charged the menu cost. we felt that we were scammed. especially when we looked around and saw the local thai women trying to get money from other lonely older customers.
