The food was just okay – the meat was bland and completely lacked the spices or flavors you'd expect. There was way too much raw onion and some sad, dry lettuce on the side. Turkish and Middle Eastern food can be so amazing, so it’s a shame this place didn’t live up to it. Definitely not worth the price!

The service wasn’t much better. We were served by a very young girl (basically a child) who looked absolutely terrified and didn’t speak any English, which made things feel a bit awkward.

The wait for our food was painfully long, even though we were the only customers there. As for the drinks, we had to remind them after about 15 minutes – they weren’t forgotten, but everything just felt like it was moving in slow motion, which got pretty annoying.

On the upside, the interior was nice, and they have parking. But overall, it was a...

Food Lab was a truly pleasant surprise, in the best possible way! The appetizers were already a delight: creative, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. And with the main courses, it became clear, everything here is homemade. You can see it, taste it, and feel the passion and skill behind every dish. The food wasn’t just delicious – it was on a level that’s hard to find these days. We haven’t had food this good in a long time! Every bite was a little experience of its own natural, honest, and full of flavor. The atmosphere is cozy, the service warm and attentive, you feel welcome from the very beginning. For us, this is definitely one of the best restaurants on Koh Samui.

Highly recommended, if you love good food, this...

A big thank you to Cem and his team at Turkish Food Lab! The food was absolutely delicious – authentic Turkish flavors prepared with so much love and creativity. We were impressed by how traditional recipes were combined with a modern and healthy twist.

Cem is such a warm and welcoming host, taking time for his guests and creating a wonderful atmosphere. You can truly feel the passion and hospitality in every detail.

We highly recommend Turkish Food Lab to anyone visiting Koh Samui who is looking for a unique and memorable culinary experience. Thank you, Cem – we’ll...

The Turkish Food Lab opened a few months ago. It has a basic but clean looking style. I came for breakfast. Strangely uninviting. The staff seemed surprised to see a customer. I had the Cacik which I didn't like, and also the Beef Stuffed Wheat Balls, which I found bland and a little oily. They didn't have any of the fruit juices on their menu, and so had iced coffee. Which tasted like a spoon of Nescafe in cold water. I didn't drink much of it. The portions are small and the prices high for what you get. Paying by QR code proved difficult. I think they prefer cash.

Very cosy restaurant. The staff was so sweet and welcomming. The chef is indeed very dedicated and gives traditional Turkish food a modern touch. I did my workout in Lamai near by and was literally starving. I found this restaurant just near Lamai Muay Thai. I ordered chicken shish, which was super tasty and juicy. Served with crispy salad and homemade Turkish pide (yup, thats right!) good portions! I will definately eat here again.
