YU-LONG ROASTED DUCK & THAI CUISINE — Restaurant in Ko Samui

Wish we had found this place earlier!

Lovely friendly, smiley, helpful and competent staff. Clean.

Excellent food. Fair prices.

The caesar salad was great, very fresh with both chicken and bacon. The tempura vegetables was a sizeable dish with lots of variety and served with a sweet chilli sauce with a kick! The mixed roast duck and crispy pork plate was generous and served with the best ever pickled ginger and crunchy morning glory plus a delicious dipping sauce made from the herbs that had stuffed the duck when cooking.

When you order a drink (we had fruit shakes and iced coffee) you were asked how much sugar you wanted in it, which was great.

Only criticisms are those common to most Thai restaurants...the food comes too quickly, not in courses and better quality serviettes would be preferable.

Go early so as not to miss out on the duck, which, when we went, ran out...

Not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews.

First off, waiting 25 minutes for a bowl of yellow noodles with duck (ordered green noodles) And for rice with duck.

Rice and duck dish was normal, steamed rice, cold crispy vegetables, but duck was hard on both dishes.

The noodle dish came out piping hot! Steam coming off of it which was weird. Clearly thrown in the microwave before being given to me. Food was so hot, vegetables were hot and mushy, not like the exact same type of vegetables that were on the rice dish. 🤷

Extremely slow service and weird food. Clearly a tourist spot so most don’t know the difference of good and bad duck.

Surely won’t return, which is unfortunate because we love...

This nice super clean place is just at the edge of Lamai center, but is is more then worth the visit. The menu holds some breakfasts, typical Thai dishes. But you need to try the signatured Chinese-Thai roasted duck or crispy pork.... you won't regret it. The added broth/sauce is the real stuff, probably cooked for several hours, This taste could be served in any star restaurant.... My god... these were the most delicious I ever had in all of my stays in8 Thailand...
