Fishbowl Beach Bar — Restaurant in Ko Tao

Well… where do I start. I had a lovely few nights in fishbowl and was welcomed by lovely staff and bouncers. The blonde bouncer with long hair was lovely!! The drinks are fairly priced and tasty! However all of these positives were overshadowed by one silly barman. After a calm misunderstanding at the bar, this man was called over by his girlfriend and was incredible aggressive immediately. After multiple attempts of trying to apologise on my behalf (only to calm down this strangely angry man) I was met with threats of being murdered. I was then kicked out and decided to leave. At the Leo bar after, this man showed up and I decided I would try and calm the situation by going over and apologising sincerely. I put my hand on his shoulder and said “I’m sorry about the confusion mate, let’s just leave this behind us”. Me, a relatively skinny 19 year old boy, was evidently not trying to fight this strange, unhinged 30 year old man. He then grabbed my arm and said “don’t F* touch me”. He then proceeded to grab my neck and throttle me. Bear in mind I kept apologising and showed no sort of aggression. Other than that I had some great nights...

We were in this bar/club, nice ambiance until a local start to act weird with my cousin so I tell him to step away, one of my male friend get in the middle of us 2 and tell him to stop talking to me and all of a sudden he slaps him hard in the face so my friend starts to defend himself and a huge fight start, they start to kick foreigners out straight away, I talk with a bouncer to explain him how the fight started and the local who started the fight come to me and starts to lie so I start to argue with him and they kick me out straight away, a 60 year old bouncer there start to push me out very violently and come in face to face with me not willing to hear the truth, and he insults me for no reason because except from arguing with the local I have not disrespected anyone. the local behaved very disrespectfully probably because he knows he’s not going to get kicked...

I visited this restaurant last evening and the service was absolutely horrible. First I was waiting for thirty minutes for order. Then food and drinks was quick because I've already complained about waiting. All the time I had empty plates on table nobody asked me for anything. When I've finished I was waiting again thirty minutes for pay but nobody came. I asked on "reception" behind me if I can pay or if is everything for free. Then one waiter came and ask if I had already soup. I' ve told him that I was waiting all time and if is everything for free. Then one lady came brought me the bill and I've told her that service is horrible. She said with smile sorry. That's it. Nobody asked me about desert or if I want something else. And I think it's a point of bussines. The food was ok but I'm really disappointed about my last dinner on...
