I had the worst experience on the island at this place.
We ordered coffee and a sundae with coconut ice cream that cost 180 baht. After we ordered and sat down, they told us that there was no coconut ice cream and that it could be made with vanilla. After a few minutes, we regretted it and asked to cancel and they wouldn't let us cancel the order.
Instead of a sundae, we got a scoop of vanilla ice cream with 2 awfully moist cookies and a little sauce on top- we paid 180 baht for it!!! When I asked for a change, I was directed to the manager who seemed personally offended by the fact that the dessert wasn't good for me, giggled in my face and asked me if I didn't know what I was ordering in a disparaging and insulting way. I know what a sundae looks like - it's not a sundae!!!
One of the employees treated my partner aggressively when he asked to find out if he accidentally paid more and wouldn't let him finish a sentence without rolling his eyes. My partner stutters and that employee laughed at him when he got stuck.
Based on the attitude of the staff, I assume they will try to deny or discredit us in some way, but I am not willing...
Read moreA buzzing little cafe with yummy brekky and brunch dishes. We had the pancakes, smashed avocado, mango bango and tropical smoothie bowl with coffees. Coffees were great! Pancakes to die for. Mango bango delicious. The smoothie bowl and smashed avo very much lacking flavour.
Thankful for their view and beach setting. On both occasions we dined for breakfast it was obvious that the restaurant is clearly struggling to keep up with the buzzing atmosphere, with wait times for food being in excess of 30-45 minutes. Multiple tables having to ask where missing dishes were. The adjacent dive shop has a flow of wet, sandy divers walking through the dining area leaving very dangerously slippery tiles for everyone to walk across (pregnant lady slipping over). Bathroom overloaded with divers leaving it very wet and unpleasant. I would return for some of their key dishes and coffees however feel there are some significant improvements that could be made. Definitely one that is better to visit before rush hour. Iâd say their sister cafe - the lazy coconut is much better run with great service and more...
Read moreDisappointed. Where to start⊠we came here again cos we think this place deserved a second chance. We order Turkish eggs, Ogg bagel and pineapple juice with cappuccino. Disappointed. Turkish eggs was not poached egg but shirred eggs, just normal hemendex ( without ham ) with yogurt at the bottom. Please, learn how to cook and prepare the original Turkish eggs and than served them to the guests. Disappointed. Juices and cold drinks are served in plastic, like a lot of plastics is used here. Why? We order pineapple juices and they took us juice from cartons and it was not even pineapple but multivitamins flavored water. Why dont you have fresh juices ? We are so disappointed we came here twice.. There are a lot of much more better restaurants- more eco friendly, not using tons of plastic and making original recipes and not fake-ing. The view is nice and also the staff is polite here but thatâs all. Do yourself a favor and go rather to Culturama, Blue Water, Whitening,...
