COAST Beach Club & Bistro @ Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Krabi — Restaurant in Krabi Province

A little hard to get to if you're not staying here, and I'm not sure why anyone would want to seeing all the complaints from the people staying at the hotel who have no other choice at night.

Food was satisfactory but nowhere near worth the price. Service was okay except when we asked if they provide any credit card discounts, as almost all hotels and restaurants in Thailand do, and the waiter - I kid you not - actually chuckled as he responded. Let's not forget that most chain hotels whether Dusit, Marriott or IHG, also have restaurant discounts for basic loyalty members so how is it so amusing to this man that there might be a discount associated with a credit card or loyalty card? At other hotels - e.g. the St Regis Bangkok, they actually proactively ask you before they bring you the bill if (you know) you're entitled to any sort...

At the first, we request open the umbrella because of dazzling sun. The waitress directly order us change to other table. Is ok, maybe the waitress don't know she should be polite. After finished our meals we go to counter and ask for check. The female cashier (look like manager) attitude even worse than the waitress... Keep talking with thier colleague, we just stand and wait her finish the conversation. And then the bill is generated, she pointed the price at the first with louder voice and impolite tone, kind like we can't afford it. Because of we are asian? Doesn't have money to pay? I can definitely feel the discriminate from her. Come on, you can't afford doesn't mean we can't afford... Summarize: Good food, Good place, Good atmosphere, But...

Can't even be bothered to finish our drinks, agreed with previous reviews about exorbitant pricing but you do get a very much less crowded beach.

Think of it as 'paying' for the beach... Walked the Monkey Trail 15 mins from Ao Nang just to get here to check out what's the hype but there's no hype.

Just a quieter beach. Ordered the pizza and it's soggy, returned it back.

Cocktail menu less than 10 selections, no White Russian no Black Russian no Whisky Dry no Long Island Tea nothing much too.

Would give 0 stars but a star given for the Servers, cause they nice to us. The view is pretty much the same at other beaches, just less crowd. Hence 2 stars for...
