Beach Fruit Bar 2 — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Good prices for ordinary drinks on the beach. Had MUCH BETTER fruit smoothies at other places... Just be careful when ordering smoothies at this juice bar as they have a tendency of cutting corners. I've had lime smoothies ("nam manao") at different juice bars in Ao Nang for the same low cost as this juice bar, but all the other places have always used freshly squeezed limes to make my drinks. This place unfortunately used processed lime juice from a bottle: YUCK! The drink they gave me basically tasted like dishwashing detergent... So I naturally returned it and complained... To their credit, the manager/owner was great about it and immediately proceeded to make me a fresh mango smoothie, this time using fresh mango chopped up in front of me. We ordered a cheese burger for our young boys to split and asked for a knife to cut in two there was clearly a knife on the side and they refused to cut. Instead gave me a fork and spoon while they watched me struggle to cut it..not nice people. (Cheese burger and chips edible)

Rude staff. Asked for a coconut smoothie, got told they only had young coconut so I asked if I could have a young coconut smoothie (more expensive). The lady at the counter rolled her eyes, said something in Thai and looked at me like she was doing me a favour...then gave me coconut water. After that, she kept looking at me maliciously.
