Our stay at Centara Ao Nang Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and breathtaking views of the beachfront location.

One of the best things about this resort is its prime location right on Ao Nang Beach. The views from the resort are just spectacular, especially during sunrise and sunset. It offers a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere while still being close to Ao Nang’s vibrant nightlife, restaurants, and shops.

🏨 Spacious & Comfortable Rooms

The rooms were fantastic – modern, clean, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. We had a beach-facing room, and waking up to the sound of waves was an unforgettable experience. The beds were super comfortable, and the balcony view was breathtaking. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job in keeping the room spotless every day.

The food at the resort was outstanding. Whether it was the buffet breakfast, in-room dining, or the beachfront restaurant, everything was fresh and delicious. There were plenty of options for all tastes, and the seafood dishes were a must-try! The cocktails at the bar were also well-made and perfect to enjoy by the beach.

The swimming pool was a highlight! It was clean, large, and had a great poolside bar where we enjoyed refreshing drinks. There was also a kids’ pool and a lovely sunbathing area with direct access to the beach.

The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable stay. They were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed – from organizing tours to giving local recommendations.

Apart from the amazing beachside location, the resort is conveniently located near longtail boat tours for island hopping, making it easy to visit Railay Beach, Poda Island, and the famous Four Islands.

I wouldn’t stay here again.||On check in day, we realised the pillows were mouldly and had a foul smell. 😵‍💫 (though they changed it upon request)||There’s no hospitality in this hotel, the atmosphere is not inviting the several hotels we have been around Thailand and around the world.||At breakfast, there is a separate barista corner (even there is a coffee machine which served poor coffee according to my hub) but the Q is horrendously long. The thing is that when I ordered nearly end of breakfast time, she took my order and asked me to wait at my seat. When I returned to the counter after a long while, the barista counter is already closed? If she couldn’t take my order she could have informed me!!|There was once during breakfast when I needed some cutlery, the female staff nodded her head and ignored me??||There is also poor communication for in room dining. The broadcast on the app stated 1-for-1 main course. We ordered 2 main, but when the staff served the food and asked for us to sign on the receipt, he is unaware of the promotion and just asked us to sign and check with the reception! I called the next day and someone told me the free item is only for the APPETISER. Which he was wrong. That night, we called again and finally this lady did confirmed it’s 1-1 main course and she amended our previous night bill.||Overall, this hotel is not impressive at all. I wouldn’t really recommend this to anyone.||The only staff which made an impression was this male staff at the pool (on 4 June morning) who took the initiative to help me pump my kid float when he saw me manually blowing into it. What a lovely resort. Very big resort right across from the beach. They have 2 large swimming pools (one main pool at the front of the property with 2 water slides and the other at the back of the property overlooking the beach). The property was immaculately clean and even offered a recycling program 👍 Personally I felt it a little too large and you certainly need to be by the pool early to get a chair/lounge - although staff are very good at removing towels from chairs if a guest hasn’t been back there for an hour - which was great as it freed up the lounges for others!!! Our room was spectacular, we had our own plunge pool which overlooked the pool and beach at the rear of the property. The room was very comfortable, large and clean. The bed was king size and it felt like we were sleeping on a cloud! We didn’t have very much interaction with the staff, but when we did we found them to be accommodating and pleasant. Breakfast buffet was massive - you think of it, it was there!!!! The only issue we had is that it finished a little early (10.30 am), which when you like a sleep in, makes it quite rushed to get there in time. The hotel has an app where you can order room service, extra housekeeping etc. The only issues we had was that the housekeeper kept taking the power card from the power box thing in our room and our beach towels (this happened on a couple of occasions) and room service finishes at 10.30pm.
