We went here for dinner because of the great atmosphere by the beach and the good reviews, but left feeling very disappointed by the quality of the food. I read reviews saying the pizza and burgers were good so we decided to get 1 of each to take a break from all the Thai food we'd been eating throughout our vacation. The burger I received was insulting. Even a burger from McDonnalds is much better. The meat was one dry, flavorless, and very thin patty and the single slice of cheese was that cheap cheese you buy at the store where the slices come in a plastic. The bread was cheap bread too and the whole thing was just the cheapest quality burger you could imagine for 280 baht, which will get you an amazing meal anywhere else in Thailand. Clearly, here you're just paying for location. My girlfriend's Hawaiian pizza was a bit better than my burger, but the dough was undercooked in some places and it just lacked flavor. Finally, our drinks were 1 coconut and 1 thai tea milkshakes with ice cream. The coconut one was good, but the Thai tea one was terrible. The ice cream was completely flavorless and we could't tell if it was vanilla or what. It just wasn't sweet and tasted like nothing. The Thai tea tasted artificial. Much better at Seven Eleven. All in all, we felt like this place was one big tourist trap and we are really surprised by the good reviews, specially when it comes to the burgers and pizza. Either the reviews are fake, or these people have never been to a fast food place like McDonnals and Pizza Hut, because even that is much better. Our meal of 2 milkshakes, a burger and a personal size pizza was almost 900 baht. We would have been happy to pay that and more for food of decent quality. But when we'd had incredible burgers at restaurants in Chiang Rai and Bangkok and we paid half the price, this meal felt like a ripoff and an insult. We are not some picky Americans with unrealistic expectations. I've traveled Thailand twice and this country has amazing food, even when it comes to Western options like burgers and pizza. This...
Read moreWanted a location that matches our mood for that night, and this place did not disappoint. It was an evening, after an island hopping. We were tired and just wanted to chill, enjoy the food and ambience. We ordered something like a stir-fried chicken with cashew nuts, one is sea food and then the mango sticky rice. I initially thought my food was spicy as i can see the chili flakes as well as some big dried ones. The server reassured me though that it isn’t. That it’s just for the aroma to stand out. And to my relief it isn’t 🥵. So I was super happy and contented, that I finished the serving. Yey!! The sticky rice was so yummy that I wanted another one, but I refrained myself as I don’t want my sore throat getting worse. (Yah, got sick during our stay 😢) but nevertheless, it didn’t stop us from having fun . 😏 It was drizzling that night but guests who were staying outside didn’t bother moving. I guess, the trees were enough of a shade. The area is big. You can choose between open and covered. The location cannot be missed as it’s at the beach front, and like the last resto at the left side if you walk from the main road. I realized that we started eating before taking a photo of our food, (we were starving) hence it’s not nice anymore 😅, apologies. Value for money ✅✅
Update: was able to comeback to this place, but unfortunately service isn’t good. But my friend enjoyed her seafood and there was this fire show done by kids. It was nice tho it lacks practice. But since they are kids, so it’s fine. Was just bit worried for their safety but well, they were fine after the show. Collected money...
Read moreI was very disappointed. This was one of the few restaurants I wanted to try in Krabi at the time, as all of the others had received poor reviews in the area. So we decided to give it a shot.
First of all, the menus are completely ripped apart, rendering some dishes unreadable (come on guys, just make new ones, it costs less than 100thb). Scrounges!). This shows a lot about the attention you provide to your customers.
Then, the waitress was friendly, though she appeared to be annoyed that we were asking about the menu for my parents (just wondering if some dishes were spicy or not).
Finally, the food is only suitable for tourists (I live in Thailand). The plates arrived after a long hour of waiting - despite the nearly empty restaurant - and the disappointment was here: some rice, some Makro sauces in various Thai dishes, and poorly presented dishes on separate plates. At best, the food was bland and random. It's clear that it was intended for hasty tourists. They don't have any passion or love in their food, and they're not even trying.
The smoothies, on the other hand, appeared to be fresh. Overall, we were very disappointed for a beach restaurant with so much potential.
I would never recommend anyone...
