DOLLA DOLLA — Restaurant in Krabi Province

Hello Dolla’s little coffee spot is simply spectacular. It’s a family run, local business that sells great coffee at local prices.

The place is small and filled with lovely details. It’s full of passion and love for coffee. ‘Dolla is crazy about coffee!’ said Dolla’s sister- she has so much love for coffee that she has self-taught how to be a barista.

During my visit, Dolla, who serves costumers herself, took great pride in sharing details about the coffee. She was brilliant at getting me involved grinding and smelling the beans. She shared her knowledge about coffee, where it came from and its characters.

I tried the hot pour over coffee from Chiang Mai and a cold Bru with coconut water, both simply the best I’ve had since travelling in Thailand!

Their mum has helped them by coming up with an amazing banana leaf straw idea that’s already popular amongst locals. Dolla explained that they try not to use plastic for their take aways, which is massive in Thailand.

Dolla also makes a mean vegan banana bread! I had one in and ordered one to take away, which she wrapped beautifully with great care.

I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely come back. Dolla and her sister were very friendly and enthusiastic about coffee and their project. True coffee with DOLLA. Try the coconut coffee. At least something different. The coconut nectar drink before coffee is mixed in already tastes fabulous. In the quiant side of Krabi town. Love the experience. No menu in the cafe which makes it special. The owners will ask what drinks you like and adjust the drinks to your liking. The key ingredient seem to be Coconut water. I am biased... The chocolate version is the best. So good. Banana cake taste good. Not the super moist type, not oily and healthy version. Not too sweet, just nice. Love it. My picture speaks for itself. Only bht50 per cup. Totally worth it travelling there before my Krabi night...
