So there I was, walking into Enjoy Thai Restaurant in Krabi with my expectations lower than a limbo stick at a beach party. The place didn’t exactly scream “culinary masterpiece,” and I figured I was in for a run-of-the-mill meal, something to fill the belly and move on.
But then, they brought out the coconut curry. One whiff, and I knew I had seriously underestimated this place. The first spoonful was like a plot twist in a movie—you’re bracing for disappointment, and suddenly, BOOM! Flavor explosion. The coconut milk was velvety smooth, the spices were on point, and the whole thing was so perfectly balanced, I started to question my life choices up to that moment.
It wasn’t just good—it was mind-blowingly amazing. By the end of the meal, I was ready to apologize to the restaurant for ever doubting them. If you’re ever in Krabi and looking for a place to surprise you in the best way possible, head straight to Enjoy Thai. Five stars, and next time, I’ll go in with higher expectations—though I suspect they’ll still...
Read morewe were actually twice here and both times the dishes were served at complete different times with the rice being cold by the time the main courses came. When we asked if the rice could be served new as it was by then cold, they first did not want to help out despite the rice being cooled down after 15 minutes. After some hesitations, they wanted to bring us new rice, but by the time the rice which they just warmed up arrived, the fish was cold. Furthermore, the dishes are a miniature size compared to any other Thai restaurant. You would have to order two curries of the same in order to get the same amount of one portion from any other restaurant. After having red reviews of food poisoning due to the chicken, we tried the vegetarian option yet the tofu basically tasted like nothing. it is sad to see that in Germany you can get better at Thai food than...
Read moreSuper lovely restaurant! It’s a bit hidden from the main street, so it has a nice vibe and true Thai atmosphere. I went there with my parents almost everyday for the dinner during our 2 weeks stay at Ao Nang. Thai food variety is really great and can be modified based on request. I have allergy to chili pepper and it was hard to find the dishes without it in all restaurants, so the chief of Enjoy made custom options of traditional Thai food that I could try everything! Our favorite were soups on the coconut milk and fried local fish! Ah, and mango sticky rice of course, yam! Drinks menu also good, so you can enjoy eating and drinking) Highly recommend this place! If you try it and once, believe me you’ll be ready to...
