Wanna's Place Restaurant, Ao Nang — Restaurant in Krabi Province

I was at the wanne place yesterday and I thought it was bad. the place was almost completely empty and I was quite hungry so I hoped for quick serves. At first they came to me quite quickly and I ordered a coke and it came quickly too. but then I went to order my food. I ordered the cheeseburger with french fries from a young man. the young man asked me 3 times if I wanted an extra cheeseburger. After saying no 3 times he happily gave up. but then I had to wait at least 30 minutes + for my burger. I think that's quite a long time for a tent where hardly anyone sits. In the end I got the cheeseburger and they also came to me with the second one to say sorry. I personally thought that was neat. the cheeseburger also tastes good. When I finished the cheeseburger I still had 1 full glass of coke. At that moment I wanted to go to the toilet but saw no toilet sign. I spoke to a lady and without saying anything she said that I had to come with her, but that was not to the toilet but to the cash register and she gave me the receipt. I was quite surprised by that when I asked the lady after the toilet, she laughed and showed me the way. When I came back my coke was gone and my table had been cleared. I thought this was so bad. also reported it but still had to pay for the coke. I will never...

Most of the food was good, but unfortunately, we had a very bad experience with the service.

My girlfriend ordered mashed potatoes, which had a very strange and unpleasant taste. We politely explained this and asked who seemed to be the shift manager if we could change it for something else. To our surprise, she replied, “You can’t change what you ordered.”

Later, I also tried the mashed potatoes myself to make sure, and they truly tasted off, nothing like mashed potatoes and basically non-edible.

When we finished our other food, we wrote a short note in Thai explaining respectfully why we were disappointed and how we expected more from a reputable restaurant. To our surprise, the same manager just said “OK,” turned around, and walked away without even saying sorry or showing any empathy.

Overall, the rest of the food was great, but the service completely ruined the experience. A good restaurant should care about its customers’ feedback, especially when something is clearly...

If I had made this review right after eating there I‘d have given 5 stars, cause the food was delicious and you could tell that they used swiss cheese for the älplermagronä which made me extremly happy. Also the portion sizes are like back hope and the staff is very accommodating. I‘m obly giving three stars cause I had some bad food poisoning after eating here.. of course you can never say exactly where it is from but I felt bad right after walking for a bit, so theres that. I‘m just saying that cause it seems like I‘m not the only person experiencing that but of course theres a difference between correlation and causation, however, there seems to be a correlation that cannot be ignored.
