I'm Fine — Restaurant in Mae Hong Son Province

This used to be my favorite place to eat in Pai. I came here first time in 2017, then again in 2020. And unfortunatelly things have changed for the worse..

I had ordered avocado and egg on toast. But it came with 1 little fried egg, on 1 toast and the other one was without. I asked the lady for 1 more egg and she reacted offended and just said this is what it is.

Its ok, I ate my breakfast. But I wouldnt have mind paying an extra 10 or 20 bath for another egg. But this wasnt even an option, the lady was already gone.

I had ordered a mango smoothie without added sugars/condencedmilk and got it with. I kindly told the lady about it, first reaction was; you didnt say that. But I truely did.. I always do.

She took the shake and didnt come back with a new one. We waited a good 15min but a new shake never came. Then we wanted to pay and get 2 more banana muffins. And they refused to sell it to us..

I have never in my life had such an experience. Aspecially in a nice country like thailand.

This is also my first ever bad review..which feels not nice.. hopefully it will be the first and the last bad review I...

Me and my girlfriend have been here twice now during our 1 weekly stay in Pai. We decided to write a review after enjoying our breakfast for the second time.

Our first experience: We got in, got greeted, go the menu quickly. We ordered a muesli with fruit and omelette with avocado and toast. The muesli with yoghurt came within 5 min, the toast took about 20 minutes. Note: Thai people serve dishes as fresh as possible - they are not planning dishes so they get served at the same time. Both were delicious.

Second time: Both the muesli with yoghurt. Again within 5 minutes - fresh fruit (full bowl) with yoghurt and honey. Truly delicious and a perfect breakfast.

Just keep it simple, sit down, order and enjoy your food. You will like the hard...

I mean I read all the reviews but being up at 6am for the bus there is nothing else open. It is not an easy feat to make a simple egg and cream cheese sandwich taste gross but they managed to. The cream cheese was not the cream cheese you are thinking of. The ham was still wet from the package and also tasted a bit off.

The bagel seemed cheap, and not toasted. The egg was too small for the bread. Still baffled how bad it tasted, couldn't even finish it. Had to scrape the cheesy goo off it because couldn't stomach the slimy texture.
