Due to the super early flight, I needed to fill up my tummy. Hence, after browsing through a few restaurants, a last taste of Thai cuisine was my choice to end the trip.
As I knew the food served in the airport generally is overpriced and not tasty, I normally don’t have any expectations. However, I certainly did not expect the food I was served in this restaurant could be worse than I thought as Thai cuisine is one of the most popular cuisines in the world.
I ordered a beef noodle soup and a Thai milk bubble tea. All I tasted of the noodle soup was saltiness and the Thai milk tea was overly sweet, not to mention fulled of ice so obviously I had nothing much to sip.
Apart from this, the service was slow regardless of there were only a few customers.
I had paid a total of 600 baht for the noodle soup and the milk tea 😱😱😱 Hugely overpriced for what I had ordered!!!
With this price I could get a lot more in quantity and quality as well as a good service anywhere in Thailand.
It was the first and also the last time I dined there. I do not recommend this place. This is surely a...
Read moreI am a visitor currently on a trip to Thailand. On the day I was flying out of Bangkok, I stopped by the Asian Corner restaurant at Suvarnabhumi Airport to get some food. Unfortunately, I forgot to get a Tbh (Thai Baht) payment from my sister who lives in Thailand before going through immigration. She offered to scan and pay for my meal from her side. So I asked the staff if I could take a photo of the scan code to send to her so she could make the payment for me. However, the way the staff responded felt extremely rude and unkind. I felt like I was being treated as a scammer, which was quite upsetting. Even if that method was not allowed, I believe they could have explained it to me politely and respectfully. As a customer, I was simply asking a question due to not understanding the system clearly. Their response was unnecessarily harsh and made me feel very uncomfortable. I strongly suggest that your staff receive proper customer service training, especially in how to communicate respectfully with foreign guests who may not be familiar with...

In my personal opinion, this is less of a Thai restaurant, but more of a Thai-feeling restaurant for tourists. I didn't like the menu one bit, and neither did I like the final quality of the food. Everyone around me were Caucasian of some sorts or an Asian businessman with a glass of beer.
We ordered tom yum goong set, and the mama tom yum goong. Food quality is low, almost feeling like instant food. Washed it down with a glass of Chang beer each. Despite the low food quality, you unfortunately also do not have many other choices as the other food options here are all equally bad.
If you have the time however, do walk towards the other side of the airport, right-side post-immigration. Restaurants like Luk Kai...
