We always try to seek out authentic eateries, and although this appears like one - it is not. If you are not Thai - they will rip you off. Simple. We ordered two pineapple fried rice with chicken. We watched serval locals pay for rice and curry, 40B/50B. This same stand is on food panda, selling dishes at similar prices (no more than 100B.) After being mocked for being foreign and apparently incredibly surprised we didn’t just order the cliché ‘Pad Thai’ (yes we do understand a little Thai) they delivered us fried rice served in a literally just purchased across the road Pineapple. 320B for the two. The lady couldn’t even look me in the eye when she blurted the made up on the spot price. Not only was service abysmal but that price is honestly laughable. If like us you are travelling, you know as well as we do that 320B is the price of a nights stay. An embarrassment to Thailand. Stay clear. You can do a lot...
