Saw some pretty bad reviews but still decided to try anyway. The beef and chicken is SO TENDER! Well marinated and even had black peppercorn for flavour.
Sadly it's a very misunderstood place because they do not speak good English and their behaviour doesn't help either.
Service here was bad. No one attended to us. We unknowingly walked to the cashier to pay first before getting our grills. Later did we realise they do serve you but it takes 10 minutes after you find your own seats.
We also read that they charge you for unfinished leftovers. Since we paid first, we got to bypass this system. A must try hack!
The price is 359 baht per person which comes with the metal plate and soup plate. And it costs another 100 baht to add a charcoal flame grill.
You MUST purchase a drink here as well. Water goes for 50 baht, a rip off but no choice.
Open air seating, I'd suggest to come after...
Read moreGreat place, amazing value. There’s a mix of locals and tourists a like. It’s similar to hotpot, utilizing a charcoal pot with a exposed ‘island’ of metal to grill in the center. Prices are 279 per person, 100 baht extra as a one then fee for a dedicated charcoal grill which is used for seafood. The selections are plenty with constant attention and help from staff with your cooking as well as restocking of food. No outside drinks, this is where they make their money. Prices are reasonable st 50-100 baht per drink. There’s also ice cream for dessert. Of note, they charge 50-300 baht for wasted food.
The location is outdoors but fully under a metal roofed structure with plenty of fans. The ventilation is good, but there’s still...
Read moreI was really looking forward to this experience - to explore the tastes and enjoy the buffet here, but it was disappointing. On arrival, I was told you HAVE to purchase a drink (no drink, no eat). The food selection is mediocre at best. The seafood was just okay and the beef, chicken I tried were bland and cheap cuts. There are also staff who come and turn the meat on the grill for you, leaving it on even after it’s charred and black. If you don’t mind flies and insects all over the salad and meat spread and if you are okay with watching a huge rat beneath the adjacent table while cats stare on lazily, then you can...
