LOB MHUM PATONG CAFE AND RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Patong

The best restaurant in Patong for sure, we came here two evenings in a row. Let's first talk about the food; I ate the best food on my itirnary here. The Pad See Ew was mouthwathering and the basic Pad Thai was also very good. They offer four kinds of cocktails; our favorite was the Mai Thai. Next the setting; the place has a wonderfull view over Patong beach, and each table has its own little zone. Most of the tables are in a cute hut. The owners are very kind, and they bake fresh dessert every day. Overall, 11 out of 10, BUT please immediately ask for a van and something against the moscitos, because they have no mercy here... Bonus: there is a cute...

Had dinner towards the end of our stay, and we'd go back again. Lovely staff but very little spoken English or written english on the menu. Lots to choose from though, with pictures. Chef came out and looked at pictures we had on our phone of pineapple fried rice that was not on their menu, came back with a pineapple, and made it for us. A hidden gem in a quiet neighbourhood. Every dish we ordered was delicious, fresh and reasonably priced. A nice spot to enjoy some iced coffee with a view of Pa Tong beach. And if you’re lucky, you might expect some fur-iendly visitor begging you for pat and food…And of course we couldn’t resist the temptation…she got some bites of fish...
