I was on a trip to Thailand with my girlfriend, and she wanted to get her nails done. I suggested she wait until we were back in Korea because I felt that Thailand might be a little lax with tool sanitation, based on what I had seen in some other shops. However, while walking around, I came across a nail salon that looked exceptionally clean. Intrigued, I decided to step inside. The shop was small and cozy, and the owner greeted both me and my girlfriend warmly. She asked a lot of questions about nails, and I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike the mechanical approach of other nail salons, this place had a genuine, human touch. The owner was clearly passionate about her work and knew her craft inside and out. Not only did she do my girlfriend's nails, but she also offered to trim and file mine for free—simply because we got along so well. I was equally surprised by how meticulously she maintained her tools. She kept everything so spotless that I even suspected she might have OCD or germophobia (which she doesn’t!). Coming from South Korea—a country known for its high sanitation standards—I can confidently say that this salon had better sanitation than any Korean shop I’ve visited. I had such a wonderful experience here! The salon is clean, modern, and very inviting. There’s even a cosy couch if you’re waiting, plus complimentary Wi-Fi and drinks which made the whole visit extra comfortable.

Hygiene was clearly a top priority. Reusable tools like nail clippers were thoroughly sanitised, and single-use items were provided whenever possible. I also really appreciated that all skincare products catered to different skin types, from normal to sensitive, and only reputable brands like Footlogic and L’Occitane were used.

The service itself was truly exceptional. Ari was gentle, caring, and attentive, and shared so many helpful nail care tips throughout my session. I even received a nail oil pen for aftercare, which was such a thoughtful touch. Unlike many salons that feel rushed or “one size fits all,” her service is tailored to each customer’s needs. She takes the time to do things properly, and I never once felt hurried.

I also enjoyed our conversation so much that the two hours passed by effortlessly. I left with knowledge about how to properly care for them.
