I recently dined at Eatali Soi 5, an Italian restaurant in Pattaya, and left with mixed feelings. One major downside was that the food didnât arrive together. Our group ordered a variety of dishes, but they trickled out haphazardlyâsome of us finished eating while others were still waiting, which disrupted the mealâs flow and felt disappointing for a place with such a polished vibe. That said, the food itself was a highlight. The pizza was excellent, boasting a crispy, wood-fired crust and fresh, flavorful toppings that hit all the right notes. The pastas were very good tooâcooked al dente with rich, well-balanced sauces that showcased quality ingredients.
The atmosphere at Eatali Soi 5 is perfect, striking a cozy yet upscale chord with its warm lighting and inviting decor. The service was excellent; the staff were attentive, friendly, and eager to please. The open kitchen is a standout featureâbeautifully designed and exuding professionalism as you watch the chefs craft each dish with care. The presentation was stunning, with every plate looking like a work of art, thoughtfully arranged and vibrant.
However, the prices felt a tad high for the portion sizes. While the quality justified some of the cost, I couldnât help but wish for a bit more generosity on the plate. Overall, Eatali Soi 5 offers a delightful experience with a few hiccupsâworth a visit for the pizza and ambiance, but donât expect a...

The pizza is served fast. With a well cooked thin crust. The actual pepperoni is honestly one of the best I've tasted in Pattaya. Savory and salty like it should be. The pepperoni pizza was served with black olives however, which wasn't our preference, but I'll try to remember to omit those on my next visit. The truffle pasta was aromatic and mild. A good 2nd dish. I wish they had other pasta types like a fettuccine. They only offer spaghetti noodles. The Italian soda was good, fresh hand mashed fruits, but it was slow and required delivery from 3 doors down the street at a neighboring venue. I'll stick to a water or soda next time. I'm absolutely coming back to try a pepperoni pizza, no olives, extra pepperoni. The service was top-notch. Western level of table service. Attentive, great English, and pre bussed the table as needed to clear items. I also saw a manager "touching" tables like I'd see in America. Also, nice cushioned seating and great A/C. Bottom line: better than...
Read moreNew Italian restaurant in Phratumnak on Soi 5. Lots of new restaurants on Soi 5, so we thought weâd check this one out. Definitely not disappointed. Itâs a beautiful restaurant. Decent seating inside with a few outside tables. As always when Iâm at a new Italian restaurant, I order carbonara. What I liked about this place is that I could pick which type of pasta I wanted. I went with penne. Good choice. Food was excellent. My wife went with Thai food getting a papaya salad with rice and some chicken strips on the side. She was very pleased with her choice. They have a large menu with a variety of Italian and Thai foods. If youâre ever in the Phratumnak area, stop by and give them a try. Iâm sure weâll be back. PS: sorry about the half eaten carbonara pic. I thought I took a before pic, but...
