Nana’s Georgian Kitchen — Restaurant in Pattaya City

We showed up an hour after their posted opening but I looked like they had just opened. The chef was not on site because of the storm earlier in the day and the location was hot. They did not turn on the AC until an hour after we got there.

We had not been told the chef was not there and our food would not arrive until we had already started on our appetizers. We were given the option of ordering items that could be easily prepared.

It's never a good sign when such a highly rated restaurant on Google has no patrons.

Ordered the homemade red wine. Very sour. Could have passed as vinegar. No complex nose. Could not finish one glass.

The food was unevenly flavoured. The Hachapuri was salty (but I understand because of the cheese). The Khinkali just doesn't compare with a Chinese steamed pork bun. Vegetable salad was decent. Essentially the Georgian food didn't stand out. I would not return.

We came in a group of four friends. The staff are friendly. We met Nana, who is amazing! We also met her son, so kind. Our food was delicious!!! My son Jason and I loved the vegetables! We were given cha cha and cake because of the Easter holiday. Decorations are all so Georgian. Authentic. We told the family we were in the country of Georgia recently and loved it!
