I had an unforgettable dining experience at this restaurant with a friend! The ambiance is incredibly cozy and lovely, creating a perfect setting for an intimate meal or a casual dinner with friends. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the beautifully presented dishes to the original decor that transports you straight to Thailand. The service is top-notch, with staff who are genuinely attentive and go above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. Each dish is a masterpiece, bursting with authentic flavors that are both vibrant and delicious. To top it all off, we were offered delicious watermelon and dragon fruit after our meal, which was a delightful and refreshing treat. The cocktails were equally impressive, perfectly crafted and absolutely delicious. I can’t recommend Pjtavern enough for anyone looking for an exceptional Thai dining experience!

I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Pjtavern, and I have to say, it was a 10/10 experience from start to finish! I started with the Papaya Salad and Spring Rolls, both of which were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. For the main course, I went with the Pad Thai with Beef, and it was simply outstanding—cooked to perfection with just the right balance of sweetness, tang, and spice. The food alone is reason enough to visit, but what truly made the experience special was the owner, PJ. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect and made us feel so welcomed and appreciated. The warm hospitality, combined with the incredible food, makes this place a must-visit when in Pattaya. Everything about this restaurant is amazing—highly recommended! I can’t wait to return!

Just what Cosy beach has needed for a long time. Small yet beautifully decorated, can be enjoyed equally as a group as well as romantically as a couple. PJ and his staff are lovely and he is an amazing host consistently being 100% on point with detail so no drink or dish goes out without perfection. Would love to keep it as a hidden gem but equally need to help promote it for PJ as would hate to see this business fail. They offer good beer deals, great cocktails and is always being accommodated by small complimentary snacks. As for the food, so far (as return daily) have only tried PJ’s favourite and one of ours, soft shell crab 🦀 it is so be light, crunchy and fried with just the right amount of Thai garlic, the flavours are incredible. Keep up the amazing work

Exceptional service, as you might find in a more expensive restaurant. Small extra details such as: a lime slice in my Coke as well as on the glass rim; 6 separate small lemon wedges for my 6 fin de claire oysters, seeds removed; a roasted sprig of rosemary on my steak for aroma; salad veggies cut into small pieces so they could be eaten easily. There was a minor error when they thought I said "medium well" instead of "medium rare" but my steak was immediately replaced with gracious apologies. The decor is detailed but subtle, the lighting is balanced and thoughtful. Wine bottles start at 799 baht, nothing fancy but good value for a Thai meal. 12 French oysters for 869 baht is excellent value. I will come back again soon to try the Thai food.

Incredibly charming restaurant a little bit off the beaten path. The service is excellent from all staff, from the owner to the waiters, to the lovely bilingual singer belting out classics in Thai and English. We had the pad krapao, pad Thai, and stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, all of which were delicious especially the krapao. They have a nice selection of western food including some delicious looking steaks as well. The decor is done by the owner and makes the environment very cozy. It's not the cheapest restaurant around, but considering what you get, it's fantastic value. Will definitely return next time I'm in Pattaya, it's a diamond in the rough.

Discovered this cozy & small restaurant while looking for something else along the street. Said to myself that I must check out this joint. After reading the reviews, I definitely have to give it a try. After entering the restaurant, we were greeted by the owner and staff who are warm and friendly. Food was delicious, authentic and presentable. Hats-off to the chef and kitchen crew. Thank you for such wonderful dinner. Drinks were refreshing too. Dessert was simple but rewarding. It was complimentary too.
