This hotel should be rated as a 2-3 star at best. The hotel looks nice on the picture, but their attitude to the guests is just horrible. Our family stayed in the triple family room with the club lounge access for 2 weeks. The staff in the club lounge were great, but food was average and alcoholic drinks were very cheap and limited. The most shocking was the attitude of the pool staff and hotel management. When we wanted to swim in the evening they told us we have to buy drinks (which is real rip off) and only then we can swim in the pool. Security chased me very aggressively with my 5 year-old daughter from the pool area. When I complained to the management they didn’t seem to care. The staff of the pool were very aggressive on a few other occasions which was very weird. During the day the pool has loud low grade disco music that so loud you can’t talk to each other. Busses of tourists walking through the pool taking selfies with every female guest in the background. Their seafood buffet (850 bahtr) is very poor quality (prawns are old, mussels just boiled without any dressing etc.) Cleanness is not 4 star hotel for sure (cockroaches in the room, guests occasionally smoking on the non-smoking floor, mould in the bathroom and dust around the room). Generally the hotel has ok facilities, but customer service just doesn’t exist. We had a feeling that all they care is extra money they can make on you. Most of the guests are single males who have not seen a swimming pool before, definitely not family friendly place. Management forget about you the minute you paid. They don’t even reply to any complains or bad feedbacks. If you want to have a relaxing holiday, DON’T BOOK. You can get a better deal...

Stayed at this hotel while on vacay with family. The building per se is stunning, shaped like a cruise ship and decorated likewise inside. Rooms were spacious with comfortable beds, adequate facilities, clean washrooms and a small balcony too.

Breakfast was included with our booking and that was one of the most impressive points here. They have a large spread with a combination of Continental, Thai and surprisingly, Indian cuisine, each better than the rest! Live omelettes, fried dumplings with pandan sauce and condensed milk and a coffee and tea machine with choices aplenty were the highlights. The restaurant is spread over a huge area with no scarcity of tables irrespective of the number of guests!

The service at the front desk, however, was very disappointing. We reached at 1100 hours and were made to wait in the lobby untill 1400 hours to check in. Also, the front desk executives are not courteous or cordial and seem unwilling to listen to our requests. They also seemed not to understand English or pretended to do so. That was unusual for a place like Pattaya which receives tourists belonging to multiple nationalities so often.

They also provided us with smaller rooms than we had paid for, and tried to deny it. After a long discussion, they finally agreed and gave us the rooms we had paid for the next day, informing us about the checkout just an hour earlier.

The lobby is very comfortable with plush armchairs and settees of various sizes and colours to relax in.

Conveniently located right opposite the beach, it also offers easy access to eateries, street food and 7-11s which are located at...

Checked in on 11 September 2020. The hotel has a funny architecture, it looks a bit like an ocean liner. The location directly at the Beach Road is great. We get a very friendly welcome and move into an Ocean Front Suite, which we were able to book at a reasonable price. A huge window front and a large terrace offer a magnificent view of the hotel pool and the sea. The spacious suite is only a junior suite, as the living area is not separated. The furnishing is very stylish and dignified, however, this is not so pleasant as, for example there is no wardrobe but only a clothes rail plus shelf in the bathroom. The washbasin and bathtub are in the living area, so there is no privacy. There is no table where you can work on your laptop. We are tired from the journey and want to relax a little. Disco music starts at the hotel pool ("Fat Coco Beachclub"). They have set up huge boxes next to the pool, which are turned up full blast. In our room the walls, the windows, the furniture literally shake, everything vibrates with the bass. No earplugs help. We call the reception desk. Yes, there's nothing they can do about it, it's a new idea of the management, daily from 14 - 22:00. They didn't mention this when we booked and it's not on the website either. We want to check out and get our money back. The friendly manager has a solution for us, and we get a suite in the neighbouring A One Pattaya Beach Resort. There you can still hear the basses booming, but with a...

“Sailing into comfort at A-One The Royal Cruise Hotel – where business meets leisure, and every sea-view feels like a vacation!” We stayed for three nights at A-One The Royal Cruise Hotel during our official sales meet, and the experience was truly memorable. The hotel itself feels grand with its cruise-themed design and offers excellent sea-view rooms that instantly set the mood for a relaxing stay. Its prime location near Pattaya Beach, the Walking Street, and a big shopping mall makes it very convenient for both leisure and business travelers. The ambience is simply fantastic—warm, lively, and welcoming. Breakfast was included in our plan, and it was well-prepared with plenty of options. To our delight, the hotel also served a few Indian dishes, which felt like a touch of home while being abroad. Outside the hotel, Pattaya city never fails to impress me. This being my third visit, I can say the city always has something new to offer. The Big Buddha Temple was a highlight with its peaceful aura and beautiful surroundings. The nearby markets are bustling with life, full of local delicacies, and I particularly enjoyed the classic sticky rice with mango—a must-try in Thailand and do check the images for better understanding. Overall, it was a pleasant and fulfilling trip, balancing work, relaxation, and exploration. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Pattaya.

Definitely not the hotel you want to stay with family. Family room hidden in a corner of a corridor with no lights through the day. There is also sound proofing as thumping of the music goes on through the night especially on weekends making it difficult for kids to fall asleep. Also, do not expect any tiny bit of service even if you are a guest. My slipper was lost from leaving it on the shoe rack outside the kids playground and even though there was a camera pointing at the shoe rack I was told by the ‘manager’ that the guest who took my slipper has checked out. No damage control was offered except asking me to go to the police station in the midst of a vacation to report the loss of a mere pair of slipper. (Just imagine going to a beach destination and not having a pair of slipper). The breakfast buffet is even more ridiculous with no crowd control and definitely no control on hygiene. There were also guests seen taking food with their bare hands and no one said a thing.
