Fat Coco Seafood Club — Restaurant in Pattaya City

By far the worst restaurant I’ve been in Pattaya. Most of the staff doesn’t understand English and the service is bad. That the prices are pretty high isn’t a problem, as long as the food and service are worth it. We were with 4 persons, ordered food and waited long time before finally the first dish was served. To one of us only. Long after that one was finished, the next single dish arrived, and the same for number three. So we were watching each other eating… we didn’t wait for the food of the 4th person. We wanted to pay, but on the bill were drinks and the 4th dish which we didn’t get. And beside of that, the service was so bad that we didn’t want to pay the 10% service fee. We asked for the manager to make a deal so we could pay what we get for, which was for sure not the service. This person could only say that there were problems in the kitchen, but that he couldn’t decide to reduce the bill. After a long time finally a lady showed up who understood the situation and was making a reasonable deal with us. Review: Fat Coco, Pattaya

Fat Coco is located on Beach Road in Pattaya. It’s a stylish and vibrant restaurant with a very open and welcoming atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the overall design and ambiance.

I visited with my partner and a colleague. We ordered pizza and seafood. The pizza was excellent — I even wanted to order another one, but unfortunately, the pizzeria section had already closed for the evening. My partner had fish and small chicken balls with rice, which were also very tasty.

The only downside was that the staff were not particularly attentive, despite the restaurant not being very busy at the time. A little more attention to guests would have improved the experience.

The restaurant itself is well-maintained and very clean. There’s also a bar offering a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, as well as ice cream. Prices are on the higher side, but still reasonable considering the quality and location.

Overall, I would definitely return and can recommend Fat Coco to anyone looking for a pleasant dining...
