Unbelievable hostile reply...I rest my case! Not recommended
My wife & I decided to dine Patty"s after reading the good reviews. It was 6pm and a male staff invited us to sit freely in an empty restaurant. We asked a staff if we can BYO wine for dinner. However, boss lady came forward and bluntly announced 'No outside food or drink allowed'! Ok, no problem, we'll just order the house wines. She surprised us with her hostile attitude for asking a simple question? So we sat at a table for four ready to order our wines but were told to remove ourselves to a table for 2. We got up to comply. But before we could sit down, she insisted I move our car that's obstructing an entrance. It surely wasn't...I always park considerately especially around driveway entrances. We felt targeted unfairly...by this time, my wife and I had lost our appetite after the fiasco. We didn't make a scene but just left in disbelief at her arrogance! Even her reply post is arrogant and hostile. Success has gone to your head...please take a humble and appreciative approach on your...
Read moreWe had two very good meals there. Reading past reviews, I'm guessing things have changed a bit. There are no Thai options, only western. There's no free brownies or even desserts offered as far as I could tell. But all the food we had was good - Gnocchi in tomato sauce, Spaghetti, Schnitzel, Mashed Potatoes, Pizza, Fish fillets, etc. It's a humble little venue with the owners doing everything. That means service might be a little slower, etc. But I personally like that vibe (unlike the reviewer below who complained that the "staff don't wear masks", maybe he should drive to the mall or eat in his corporate hotel restaurant haha). And yes, as others mention, definitely ask for the...
Read moreHonestly this place is great! The prices were affordable, the pasta was pretty good but best of all was the play room they had off to the side for kids! It was totally unexpected, but the staff (maybe one of the owners?) approached us and offered for us to change seats to be closer to the play room. We hadn’t seen it when we first arrived so it was a surprise. There’s a big room with full wall windows that allowed us to sit and eat peacefully while our kids played in the room beside us (allowing us to make sure they were okay). It made for the best dining experience from two very tired parents who needed the moment to...
