A highlight is their cleverly designed “First Timers” menu—a curated gateway to Thai cuisine. It’s perfect for newcomers, offering familiar yet authentic dishes that introduce key flavors without overwhelming. It’s clear someone took care in crafting it.

I had a clever take on the iconic Tom Yum—they called it “Dry Spicy Tom Noodles.” It featured finely shredded chicken and an amazing plum-based (or was it tamarind?) chili paste that added depth without overpowering the dish. A real standout.

Talay Thong’s covered outdoor seating also deserves praise. During the rainy season, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal al fresco without worrying about the weather. Calm, airy, and dry—a winning combination.
