Not the Warmest Experience, Unfortunately

I’m really sorry to say this, but I wasn’t impressed by my visit at all. From the moment I walked in, I felt a sense of discomfort—almost as if I was being treated differently.

When I tried to order a coffee, the staff insisted I pay immediately, even after I explained that I was waiting for a friend. I was told, rather bluntly, that if I didn’t order and pay right then, I would have to leave. It felt unnecessarily harsh, but I didn’t want to overthink it, so I went ahead and paid.

About five minutes later, my coffee was brought to my table. To be fair, the cappuccino tasted great—smooth and well-balanced.

But while I waited, I noticed something that made me feel even more uncomfortable. A couple of other customers walked in after me, and the staff welcomed them at the door with a smile, invited them to sit down, and didn’t require them to pay upfront. The difference in treatment was hard to ignore.

At one point, I asked if there was a power outlet available so I could charge my iPad. I was told they didn’t have any. But just a few minutes later, I noticed that a customer sitting across from me had access to one.

I don’t want to jump to conclusions, but the experience left me feeling quite sad. I was dressed casually—just a normal t-shirt and regular shoes—but I couldn’t help but feel like I was judged or treated unfairly because of how I looked.

It’s disappointing, because I was really hoping to enjoy the space. And again, the cappuccino was honestly delicious. So thank you for that. I just wish the overall experience had felt a bit more...

The cake is quite good (oreo cheesecake) . I didn't have a coffee drink. The soda drink I had is serviceable. I like the seating and tables; there're many different types to choose from. The AC amount is definitely not sufficient for the place as has been said. The place has a feel that it has lacked investment. My main point of contention with this place is that it's unsure of what it wants to be, neither this or that.

Is it a chill and low key hang out? Too expensive (same price as Lapin); no plugs; sign saying no lengthy stays. Is it a hip and beautiful Instagram cafe? Not pretty or professional enough. Is it a serious cafe for coffee lovers? Doesn't seem like it from the variety of menu, but it's possible the coffee exceeds expectations.

So if other nearby places have seating, I think there are better choices depending on...

This cafe feels like stepping into the daydream of a creative, free-spirited soul—full of energy, charm, and nostalgia. The decor is a delightful collection of vintage treasures: bicycles on the walls, scattered bottles, and bouquets of dried flowers hanging gracefully from the ceiling. It’s an intriguing yet cozy atmosphere that invites you to stay all day.

The vibe perfectly captures the essence of traditional Ari—a mix of sophistication and charm. Their signature drink is a must-try, best enjoyed while listening to soft music, working quietly, or catching up with close friends.

If you’re looking for a unique and relaxing spot in the heart of the city, this cafe is truly...

Nice little coffee shop not too far from Ari BTS station. I probably had my favorite drink in all of Bangkok here! I got a non-coffee chocolate and mint drink. It was like drinking an Andes mint. So incredibly good! Would love to give this place a 5 star rating but the music was a little too loud and a little too upbeat for me in a coffee shop setting. But besides that, the seating is cute, it’s spacious, and for a coffee place in Bangkok they are cheaper than other places. I paid 98 baht for my drink. Any other coffee shop it seems I would pay anywhere from 120-150 baht. Will be back!
