Som Tum shop at a back street in Phra Khanong. When I arrived there at lunch time, a couple of Grab drivers were already waiting for their orders which is a good sign that the foods here must be very good.
And yes, that is true!
Variety of Som Tum are available along with other Thai food and all I ordered is very good. What is remarkable is very big portion of Kor Moo Yang which I have never seen(see photo) For me, Nam tok and Laab moo are better than Som Tum.
While I was at the shop, grab drivers kept coming in so the food quality must be reputable to other customers too.

Read moreWent in a couple times. The food tasted good but if you don't want spicy then it might be a little bland and basic (thai flavors come from the spices). Prices are reasonable for a super touristy area and cheaper than most if not all the other restaurants on the same road. Good spot to get a bite to hold you over while you make your way to the streetfood spots.
Thai music playing inside the restaurant, cars and bikes passing by, but talking is easy if you actually have friends and people to talk...

Placed another order and it was just as good! I noticed the degradable bag came with my order and value a restaurant that does this. Highly recommended!
The food here is excellent, the shrimp were big and juicy. The squid was perfectly cooked and I loved every bite of it.
I am hoping to visit this restaurant again and highly recommend both the stir fried yellow curry with squid and the pad Thai shrimp.
