Ros Niyom — Restaurant in Khlong Toei Subdistrict

Little known place to Expats and tourists. Restaurant seating in an open air concept. Typical Thai book-sized menu of mostly Thai and Chinese styled, with some Western styled, dishes.

Just North outside the gates of the tobacco factory. All the Thai food here is good but this place is known by locals for its duck which is truly excellent!! Prices are cheap.

For the same price as a large sandwich, fries and drink at a fast food restaurant, here you can have a 3 course meal at triple the quality. At lunchtime, (11:30-13:00) the main floor area is packed with Thais daily. I've seen, but never experienced, the upstairs dining room which, from what I understand, they open for dinner. This place has consistently great food.

What a little gem! Stayed opposite here last year but never stepped in, this year found it on random google map searching and stepped in. Old school genuine Thai eatery. No fancy cutlery, decorations or uniforms, just superb flavours. Frequented mainly by locals as far as I could tell. Definitely a surprise find as it is hidden right at the alley, away from the main street. We had 2nd thoughts when we reached as the entrance doesnt seem inviting but well.... glad we still proceed because this prove as the best choice. We had the beef noodle and duck noodle.
