Stayed here August 2024 and paid for the month for 18,000 baht and 10,000 baht deposit. Electricity is not included in the cost. At the end of the 28days, electricity worked out to be approx 2,500 baht. The AC was on a great deal of the time and speaking of the AC I removed the five filters and cleaned them my self. Each filter had a coating of dust at least 6mm thick. Clean filters make an AC work more efficiently. This was brought to the attention of reception upon departure. They need to have a system in place where these are cleaned at least on a monthly basis. The room was very spacious with a large fridge freezer. The freezer was getting to the point where it needs to be defrosted. I found the bed to be my liking, firm but not too firm. This may not be to everyone's liking. As most would agree a good sleep is imperative. The bathroom is very small and you certainly couldn't swing a cat in there, not that I was travelling with a cat! Small balcony that overlooked the wonderful Benchakitti Park and can be used to dry your towel on a chair, or perhaps dry some washing. Room lighting is poor and the colour scheme should be brightened up with a light colour paint, which would brighten the room up. Sufficiently large enough wardrobe and when reception was asked for more coat hangers, this was not a problem. Due to length of stay, I was provided with a micro wave oven, however it had a three pin plug and I needed to buy a two pin plug adapter which was not a problem. TV not used but a quick perusal of the channels provided plenty of choices for the couch potato. House cleaning did an ok job, but I had to ask hotel reception that they pay particular attention to one corner of the room, where there was a build up of dust and it was obvious it had not been cleaned for some time. Reception and front entrance door staff very helpful. Free shuttle is a bonus for the days of wet weather, or the legs are just saying no, to get a ride up to the main happening area near the Nana Plaza. Don't be a scrooge, give the door staff a little tip every now and then when they transport you in the free shuttle. Only had one meal in the hotel restaurant and no complaints about quality or size, but when it comes to pricing as per usual for hotel food, you can find good quality food in it's abundance within a 1km of the hotel. Used the gym and it has some very basic weights etc that provided me with an adequate workout. Not a good gym for the posers, or the ones who want to do TikTok or look at me Instagram videos. Right on the door step is a machine where for 1 baht you can get approx 750ml of drinking water. Having bought a couple of bottles of water from the nearby 7/11 at about 18baht each, I then just refilled the bottles for 1 baht a small saving, but still a saving. So on reflection taking into account the good and bad things, would I stay at this hotel again. The answer is simple yes. For anyone wanting a long term vacation, perhaps consider you stay one night here and if it is too your personal liking book a full month. The fact that the hotel it is right on the doorstep of Benchakitti Park, was one of my main reasons for staying. The gated park is clean and well looked after. It has security at each gate entrance and plenty of CCTV throughout. It is perfect for walking, running...
Read moreI’ve been a regular visitor to this property, right from the time it was known as Nana Tai Mansion. Recently stayed in the renamed Nana Tai Suites and found it safe, clean and excellent service like the old times. The location is spot on with easy access by foot to all the nightlife hotspots in Soi 4. Plus, if you are lazy to walk in the heat, the hotel has a free Tuk Tuk service from the hotel to Nana Plaza. The restaurant in the hotel serves a no frills breakfast that’s healthy and pocket friendly. The staff are kind and ready to serve customers anytime -day or night. The security guards are polite and firm at the same time and enforce the rules without confrontation. The hair Salon attached to the hotel needs a special mention. The genial old lady is expert in trimming hair as per your requirement- just with an appreciative nod, she understands what you need and provides the haircut without any fuss. Again the rates are budget friendly. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to experience Thai hospitality at a fraction of cost. For those seeking fun and company, the place is well located and is safe haven. It may look old from the outside, but is well maintained and the courteous staff makes you visit again. Do try it on your next visit, you’ll not be...
Read moreI've stayed here multiple times, the latest being July 2024, great quiet location with close access to the commercial/downtown Sukhumvit area. FABULOUS view of the park from the balcony, I've stayed on the 6th, 7th and 8th floors, I'd recommend getting on 6 or 7 and making sure you face the park :] Rooms are spacious and clean, bed is comfy, great value for money. In case anything has an issue like the TV or the AC making noise reception is happy to swiftly rectify it. Has a nice pool and gym as well. Convenient fridge with drinks is available 24/7 in the lobby so you don't have to go to 711. Reception staff is super sweet and helpful, as is the cleaning staff and as are all the staff really. My taxi for the airport was late and the gent from the team immediately helped me secure a random taxi from the road to make sure I got there on time. They have a free tuk tuk that takes you up to the main road where the metro is, and taxis/motorbike taxis are all available closeby. I didn't use the in house restaurant.
All in all another great stay, Tanida at reception was especially helpful as always and was great to meet her again. I hope my next...
