The setting is absolutely gorgeous, embracing a vibrant Amalfi theme with striking white, blue, and sunny yellow accents, complete with charming lemon trees. This is a proper Italian restaurant, and its authenticity shines through in every detail, right down to the fact that it’s run by Italians. The experience is highly personalized from the start. The chef took the time to personally present the daily specials and offer insightful suggestions, guidance we wholeheartedly took—and were absolutely not disappointed. The food was impeccable, demonstrating a mastery of Italian cooking principles. The pasta was cooked perfectly al dente, maintaining that satisfying bite often lost in lesser kitchens. The risotto arrived, intensely aromatic and rich, and the lasagna was smoking hot from the oven, cheesy and comforting. Authentic Italian restaurant in Bangkok. I normally avoid eating Italian food outside Italy as it is difficult to find real Italian cuisine. However the management of this wonderful little restaurant is actually Italian and so is the menu! The food is delicious (never thought I would get so excited about a simple risotto!) and the portions perfect. I ordered more than I would normally (hence the price tag) but it was so delicious and worth it. I would definitely go back again, and would likely order the lasagne and the tiramisu next time. The restaurant is tastefully decorated in Italian style, along with an interesting bathtub as part of the decor. It was a peaceful venue, with no annoying loud music.
