Lucky Duck, MR OU’S FAMOUS LUCKY DUCK — Restaurant in Pom Prap Subdistrict

Bar ran by crooks!!! We visited the bar because of its proximity to our hotel and because we noticed the good reviews. We wanted to drink a couple of beers but surprise surprise the beer just finished. We asked for the menu and we ordered a couple of gin tonics. As the price was quite steep we were expecting something fancy but in return we got a normal gin tonic ( without the usual cucumber or red pepper or celery ) and a big cube of ice inside the glass. Without to exaggerate our gin and tonic was about 50ml, the rest was ice. At the end when we asked for the bill we faced another unpleasant surprise. On the menu a gin costs 280baht but on the final bill the price is 320baht , they forgot to mention the tax on the menu 🤔. The nice atmosphere cannot compensate the fact that the a drink costs more than in most of places in Europe and the owner tries to rip the turists off ( by no means a local person could affort those trinks unless they are presented with...

Seriously if you want to try some exotic and special drink, this is the place. I started with their signature Concubine and it's amazing! The next one is the durian infused mojito and it was even better than the first one! The bartender here infuses every drink by himself so you will definitely get the unique experience you can't find elsewhere here. Rice Girl and Lucky Duck cocktail is literally the best. This is my favorite bar in Thailand now. It’s well decorated, cozy, even the toilet area too. You wont regret it 1000/10

Edit: I was so tipsy writing that and woke up today wanting to properly (and soberly) mention that this place is a 10/10. The areas are well decorated including the bathroom area. They also play good music. Absolutely a blast....
