This particular location of LEO has a container box that currently rents for 150/baht a month. If, like me, you travel seasonally in Asia, this means you can store a couple weeks of clothes in Bangkok year-round for less (and with much less stress) than it would cost to carry them back and forth around the world in a checked bag. The front desk staff here is also absolutely wonderful -- friendly, professional, easy to talk to in English, and happy to share lots of great suggestions about food and coffee in this vibrant neighborhood. Personally, I route all my travel in and out of Asia through Bangkok so I can use the box storage here, and love that this location is so close to so many of my favorite cafes (La Cabra, Baba Mama, Cai Yong, House of Supha) and culinary gems (Khao Moo Daeng Si Marakot, Henryfry, Hiabtiang, Charmgang, etc.). It’s also just a few minutes walk from several excellent bed & breakfasts and hotels, and just a few blocks from the Hua Lumphong train station, which makes it easy to reach on the MRT.

Most self-storage in Thailand is designed more for either luggage storage or larger volumes (like a cubic meter or more), which winds up being prohibitively expensive if you’re a seasonal traveler who’s just trying to leave some spare clothes in town so you don’t have to keep carrying them around the world. LEO does offer those sorts of luggage and locker options as well, but for me personally, it’s the box storage that makes them a key fixture in how I plan my logistics year-round. If you’re coming to Thailand every winter, this is a hugely useful company.

That said, there is at least one other storage service in Bangkok that’s offering the same kind of box for 200 baht, and they’re opening a new location a few blocks closer to the train station. They will steal your money and leave your stuff unsafe.

At first, the service seemed great, I rented a small box for several months and kept recommending Leo Self-Storage to everyone, praising how convenient it was.

Then, when they know you are not in Bangkok, they will suddenly increase the price you were supposed to pay (10 times more for me, so nearly +1000%, which is completely crazy). They will warn you at the last moment before your planned payment to pressure you.

They will also try on you some very dishonest and unethical maneuvers, such as asking you more money for services you already paid for month ago : "In fact, the price changed 6 months ago. So you also have to pay the additional +1000% for each of the last 6 months."

And on top of that, once they receive your payment at the crazy-increased price (because you may have no choice but paying if you are far from Bangkok), they will say that you have to bring your own lock today, because the rules changed and they do not provide a lock for your stuff anymore. While you do not come back to bring your own padlock, your stuff will stay unlocked and unsafe, for anyone to take.

If someone who had similar experiences is planning to sue them, I’ll be happy to testify. I have plenty of e-mail proofs of their immoral maneuvers to scam...

As a visitor in Thailand, I tried to put my belongings to this place. I was really impressed with the locker storage — it is by far the best one for me. The lockers were clean (I love the color too 😍) and easy to operate. Whether you're a traveler storing a backpack, a student putting your school supplies, or someone who just wants to secure your valuables, there's more than enough space. I especially appreciated the style of the lockers available to secure my belongings.

Security is clearly a priority here. The locks were perfect to make sure I am at peace when I leave them. It's cute that there's a locker with a glass door, you can see your stuff 😍 But if you don't want the glass door, you can choose the other style. And before I forget, the staff did a great job in assisting with my request. Very friendly and welcoming!
