All in all, due to the variety and reasonable prices, the Market Village Mall Food Court is a respectable four out of five stars.
During busy times it can be challenging to find a seat and there is a hustle and bustle that is far from relaxing. Still, in off peak times, tables are plenty and the vibe can be almost chill.
The blue jumpsuit wearing table cleaners are constantly circling around the dining area, so dirty dishes and assorted messes do not remain for long.
The food stalls offer mostly Central Thai or Thai-Chinese style dishes, but there are other cuisines represented. I enjoy the Isan food as well. Some of the other food vendors take cash rather than the stored value cards.
One of my favorite vendors is the "Khao Gaeng" stall located at the end near the big elevator. This vendor is called "Krua Khun Fah" and I enjoy the Thai steamed pumpkin, stir fried long egg plant and the Massaman Chicken Curry. I also like the Khao Kha Moo - Stewed Pork Leg stall located more in the middle of the row while my daughter frequently orders Khao Man Gai - Chicken Rice.
100 Baht for a meal and a bottle of water is our most common bill per person. When I am feeling more hungry, 150 Baht gets me a satisfying amount of food.
Think of this place as "indoor street food".
Nowadays, many of the food stall workers are from Myanmar, but they mostly understand Thai. (You can blow their minds with a Burmese "Mingalaba" greeting!)
I don't eat here everyday, but when I do, I feel like I get good...

So far, my two favorite choices are:
Beef soup (pictured, 55 THB – third item from the bottom of the menu)
Chicken with rice from the stand shown in another photo (large portion for just 55 THB).
To enjoy most of the food stalls, you’ll need to use a prepaid card. You can easily obtain one at the central counter in the middle of the food court, where you can load cash onto it, return it, or collect any unused balance in cash. Please note that only cash top-ups are accepted (no bank cards). Once issued, the card is valid for 30 days.
Tip: While enjoying your meal, you can also create customized T-shirts, shirts, or caps on-site. The staff are exceptionally friendly and provide...
Read moreWe ate in the food court numerous times at various vendors during our five week stay in Hua Hin. Although it is suggested you buy a card to purchase food, we never did. The majority of vendors only accept cash and do not accept the card. The dining area is fairly large, and it is constantly cleaned. The food, although not massive portions it is value for the price you pay. In fact, we found it beneficial as we could try different meals and it was still cheap. Although the food hall is open till 8pm by about 6:30pm some vendors had sold out of some of their products. However, there was always somewhere to get something. It's a great...
