Marzipan — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

I prefer the main Marzipan Cafe shop on the road to Pa La Oo, but this branch at Market Village is OK.

I dropped by for some brunch while my daughter was at the nearby dermatologist.

I had a hot Americano and the poached egg and bacon croissant sandwich. At 190 Baht for the croissant sandwich and 70 Baht for the coffee, I feel the prices are slightly high for the experience.

The employees seem to be OK. It took them a few minutes to notice me and bring me a menu.

There were plenty of seats when I visited at noontime on a holiday Friday.

Unfortunately, it's the nearby atmosphere that drags this cafe down.

Marzipan Cafe is located on the third floor of Market Village near the kids' activities zone so there is a lot of noise. It's not really that relaxing here.

Located in market village on the 3rd floor right at the back near the cinema. Can be very noisy. It’s a small seating area so can fill up and as it’s in a market village it can’t open until 10:30 which is quite late. When you order coffee the THB ask if you want mild, medium or dark roast which is a great idea and the medium roast Americano I had was great, just hit the spot. Disgusting behaviour from staff! We ordered two cakes and sat down. When preparing the cakes, we saw that the waitress first smelled the cake… and then tasted it. Twice! And smelled again🤮? Served it to us afterwards, and yes it not great. When we confronted her, she said the cake was fresh and made today. She did not comment on we told her we saw she tasted it before 🤣🤡 they did not compensate either. Don’t go - overprized and serve old cakes. The other cake was not...
