La Vie - Luxury Coffee & Tea Lounge — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Not the place for lovers of afternoon tea sets. Our order was a complete mess - we had 1 vegetarian in 4 and for some reason it was assumed that we had all become vegetarians for the afternoon - and there were no scones with jam and cream in the tea set! The tea set itself was disappointing, mainly sweet with 2 dry savoury sandwiches, and everything being glued to the tray with sweetened artificial cream😝. Worst thing was we booked for 4 but they only brought 1 tea set for 2 vegetarians to begin with. Took more than 30 minutes for another vegetarian tea-set to appear. UPDATE: after I had posted the review below, a staff member came to the table to enquire about our level of satisfaction. After telling her our issues, she was very kind and made our coffee drink free. To be clear, I don't believe she came to our table because of the review. More that I wanted others to see my original post, compliment the staff again, and add another star. Although it's presentation is beautiful, the food could be better. Eggs Benedict was over cooked. A beautiful gem hidden away. I had a lovely mattcha latte. Love the way they serve their drinks - see photo. The tree and water outside was beautiful and it must be even more lovely at night with the lights on. On the down side, I asked for water and received it in a glass bottle, it tasted like tap water. I ordered a macaroon as I'd never tried one before. My husband took a bite and said it was old and had been left in the cabinet too long.
