Not the place for lovers of afternoon tea sets. Our order was a complete mess - we had 1 vegetarian in 4 and for some reason it was assumed that we had all become vegetarians for the afternoon - and there were no scones with jam and cream in the tea set! The tea set itself was disappointing, mainly sweet with 2 dry savoury sandwiches, and everything being glued to the tray with sweetened artificial cream😝. Worst thing was we booked for 4 but they only brought 1 tea set for 2 vegetarians to begin with. Took more than 30 minutes for another vegetarian tea-set to appear. After telling her our issues, she was very kind and made our coffee drink free. To be clear, I don't believe she came to our table because of the review. The tree and water outside was beautiful and it must be even more lovely at night with the lights on. On the down side, I asked for water and received it in a glass bottle, it tasted like tap water.
