Great location and plenty of Guinness beer. The food was ok but the service excellent so I can recommend this small Irish pub. Revisited and chilled out with a pint of Guinness whilst watching the cricket. Always a pleasure coming here. Unfortunately went there to watch the AFL and had the bar maid with attitude, and as cold as a mother in law's stare. Had to ask to turn on the AC (twice); Asked if the AFL could be turned on at the bar TV instead of outside (she wasn't happy but did it). Asked for the TV sound to be turned up....it wasn't like she was busy we were the only two patrons there. Certainly very disappointed this...

The taste of the lard transported me back to 1961, in Lowell, Massachusetts USA, on a Friday night, eagerly waiting for mom and dad to come home from the shoeshop with paper bags of fish and chips wrapped in wax paper, that would be spread across the kitchen table for us kids to dig into.    Read moreWent here for an afternoon beer and can't fault the service or the coldness of the beer but i ordered a portion of wedges and honestly for such a simple food to cook they were totally inedible. Looked absolutely cremated on the outside and as hard as the table i was sitting at on the inside. I don't usually give harsh reviews like this but i think i have to this time. I didn't complain either but when the waitress came to collect the plate she asked and i just told her i couldn't eat them. She offered to give another portion i said no thanks but she didn't offer to take the price...
