Amor Restaurant — Restaurant in Ratsada

I visited Amore Restaurant Italian in Phuket Old Town with my family, hoping for a decent Italian meal, but unfortunately, the experience was completely disappointing on every level: rude treatment, lack of respect, poor hygiene, and questionable food quality.

We politely asked about the ingredients of some dishes, simply because we do not eat pork for religious reasons. Instead of receiving a respectful answer, the owner responded with clear frustration and told us to leave the restaurant in a loud and aggressive manner — even though we spoke very respectfully and kindly.

To make things worse, we observed her speaking in the same disrespectful, loud tone to other customers as well. It seems this kind of rude behavior is normal in this place, which is unacceptable for a restaurant that caters to international tourists.

As for the food — it was a disaster. A few hours after eating, I had severe stomach pain, which made me question the cleanliness and freshness of the ingredients.

But the most upsetting part is that the restaurant clearly shows no respect or sensitivity toward Muslim dietary needs. If you’re a Muslim or someone who avoids pork for any reason, don’t expect understanding or proper customer service here. This kind of attitude is completely inappropriate in a country like Thailand, known for its hospitality and respect for different cultures.

I’m not writing this review out of anger alone — I’m writing it to warn others. Don’t waste your time or money in a place that fails to meet even the basic standards of cleanliness, food quality, and human decency. Phuket has many excellent restaurants that serve delicious food with kind service. Sadly, this restaurant is not one of them

زرت مطعم Amore Restaurant Italian في بوكيت داون تاون مع عائلتي، وكانت تجربة مؤسفة بكل ما تعنيه الكلمة. كنا نبحث عن وجبة إيطالية لذيذة ومحترمة، ولكن ما وجدناه كان العكس تمامًا: سوء معاملة، قلة احترام، نظافة سيئة، وطعام مريب.

عند طلبنا بعض المعلومات عن الأطعمة – فقط لنفهم ما إذا كانت تحتوي على لحم خنزير – قوبلنا بانزعاج واضح من صاحبة المطعم، وردّت علينا بطريقة غير لائقة أبدًا، بل وطلبت منا الخروج من المطعم بطريقة عدوانية وصراخ! رغم أننا لم نكن مزعجين، بل تحدثنا بكل احترام ولباقة.

ما زاد الطين بلة، أنها كانت تتعامل بنفس الطريقة الفظة مع زبائن آخرين، حيث شاهدناها تصرخ وتتكلم بعصبية مع أكثر من شخص في المطعم. يبدو أن هذه طريقتها الدائمة في التواصل، وهي طريقة لا تليق بأي مكان يقدم نفسه كمطعم سياحي.

أما عن الطعام، فحدث ولا حرج: بعد ساعات من تناولي الوجبة، شعرت بألم شديد في المعدة، مما يدل على أن النظافة أو جودة المكونات غير جيدة إطلاقًا.

لكن الأسوأ من كل ذلك هو عدم احترام المسلمين أو فهم ثقافتهم الغذائية. المطعم لا يُظهر أي مرونة أو احترام إذا كنت لا تأكل لحم الخنزير أو تسأل عن المكونات، وهذا أمر غير مقبول أبدًا في بلد سياحي مثل تايلند يُفترض أن يحترم زواره بمختلف خلفياتهم.

أنا لا أكتب هذا التعليق بدافع الغضب فقط، بل بدافع تحذير كل من يخطط لزيارة هذا المكان: لا تضيعوا وقتكم ولا أموالكم في مطعم لا يحترم الزبائن ولا يوفر الحد الأدنى من حسن المعاملة أو النظافة. بوكيت مليئة بالمطاعم النظيفة والمحترمة التي تستحق التجربة. هذا المطعم...

Dining at Amor Restaurant was such a delightful experience! The food was absolutely delicious every dish was full of flavor and beautifully presented. What truly made the experience special was the exceptional service from the staff. Nate, May, Princess, Bright, and Max were all incredibly warm, attentive, and professional.
