EcoLoft Hotel — Hotel in Ratsada

Let me begin with a story.

My camera was stolen after I dropped it in front of my room. When I noticed it was gone, I was back from dinner and frantically searched around my room but had no luck. I was able to track the camera down with an app to the room across from me, and had solid proof that the room across had my camera.

After reporting this incident, they offered to check security cameras, (the hotel has cameras in every floor) and the manager came to the hotel right away. Staff were very aware of the situation and were paying close attention for the people in the room to come back.

The manager was aware of who the people were, and confronted them when they returned to the room. In the end I got my camera back, and I was very happy the manager understood the situation very well. That, is excellent service.

Now for the actual hotel. I love the modern wood and stone look. It's a very nice aesthetic and makes you feel very comfortable.

Roof has an infinity pool.

Air conditioning is excellent.

Showers are the size of a closet, but the water pressure is great compared to other hotels I stayed in, and I walk out of the shower feeling clean after a hot, sticky day in Phuket.

Since the hotel location is new, you may have to give directions to cab drivers.

Would be nice if they provided lotion because the air conditioning makes your skin dry.

Please give this new establishment more attention and your money. They deserve the best.

I am also in no way blaming the hotel with theft. Theft can happen anywhere and I'm giving a 5 star review because the hotel did an excellent job helping me get my camera back.

First time visiting Asia, used Airbnb app to look for places to stay and I have to say WOW... the hotel is modern but simple, rooms are very good in size, the bathroom was small but practical and the double mirror is very useful (while one side faces the sink the other side has a little table which comes very handy when you are a female) and they even offer a hairdryer
