If we could give an above 5-star review, we would. From beginning to the end, we were beyond spoiled with our time here. The staff is so so incredibly kind and helpful, and we couldn't be more grateful for the pleasantness of our stay.
The rooms were clean, modern, and the photos posted are a true reflection of what we experienced. Our room also had an international outlet, which was incredibly useful and worked beautifully with our U.S. outlets. Also, the wifi was on point and not slow at all! I had to watch several videos for work, and it worked reliably.
One downside that should be noted is that it is not handicapped accessible, so if you can't get up stairs or stairs aren't your thing, this is likely not going to work well for you.
There have been a couple downsides that people have mentioned that I want to address: If you want to spend time at the beach, this place isn't it and doesn't claim to be near one. If you come with this expectation, you will be disappointed. That's not to say that the hotel isn't near anything fun, because that's not an accurate statement. We arrived on a Monday night and are leaving a week and a day later, and never failed to find something to do. Some of the trips we took required a 25-minute taxi ride to get to these other places, and other things did not. Personally speaking, it is not the hotel's problem that it's not near a beach; it's up to the traveler to know what they want to do and how to use a map.
As for the breakfast, I've noticed a couple notes about how you have to specify what you want the night before. Yes, this is accurate. No, this was not a problem for us. You can request a specific meal before the evening, it would just require speaking to the staff. It was beyond simple and the staff always asked us as we got back to the hotel at night if we wanted to set anything for breakfast. The breakfasts were also quite delicious and, for us to not be used to the food, there were also some gentler options when our...

Read moreThis is a boutique hotel nestled in the town area and it looks recently renovated and everything looks clean and new, but no lift to higher floors and so u have to carry your own luggages up to max level of 3rd floor if your assigned room is on upper floors. But the room is spacious and clean & aircon works fine, except the shower is abit weak and hard to control the hot/cold temperatures. But with patience the shower is still manageable. No toothbrushes are provided except 3-in-1 bath liquid. Breakfast is ok only. You preorder your meal from a menu with 3 options when u check in, and u will get them in tingkat (hotel will order from outside food vendors) and served as it is w/o warming up. So when I came down for breakfast at 10am, I was eating my breakfast cold as I guess my tingkat was delivered at 7am and just kept in the kitchen till I come down for breakfast.Otherwise, I think this is a fine place to stay and the price for hotel stay is nearly unbeatable and value for money. Just don’t include breakfast since there are many good and cheapeateries within walking distance. Will consider coming back to stay again is I all visit...
