Hilltop cafe - Sinae Phuket Luxury Hotel — Restaurant in Ratsada

Nearly spoilt by Shouting loud Arabic groups noisy! Nice view.. we were staying otherside of the mountain westin, which has direct sunset.. this hilltop cafe does not have sunset view.. but lunch sándwich and Starbucks were nice. Staff nice when you speak to Thai people nicely respect Thailand people warm up. Front view tables are 3000 baht.! and back view 500, but redeemable against food. Security greets you at top checks you ticket voucher you buy outside then allowed entry.. and you feel you are in Starbucks members only place!... no rifraf allowed... !!! Unusual experience... Staff were nice and friendly.. helped with my seat.. especially when i was going to walk out and complain... because of the horrible loud customers ruining it for other guests... apparently this problem is common..

NOTE IT nearly WAS SPOILED by LOUD ARABIC SHOUTY RUDE CUSTOMERS... Any arabic people please note you need respect other people!! Dont speak in your loud voices!!! There is no need to upset other customers.. do you realise its rude to inflict your LOUD LOUD SHOUTY conversation on other customers... play music and video games and listen to youtube.. shout in your highest voice. You just lower your voice a bit like other people who sit in a restaurant.

The cafe is only arabic customers ..why is this ?why all customers arabic?????? I have many nice arabic friends no racist..far from it.! Why are the guests only arabic ??? and all shouting and making noise. In Thailand .... you go to karon only russian (Quiet people), but they dont shout yell yala yala shout shout! loud voice . These customers at Hilltop cafe were all so bad and give you bad look if you are not Arabic!.. what happened to this nice cafe.. personally money prices are ok.. customers spoil it exclusive arabic place for shouting

So sad its otherwise this could be a quiet peaceful retreat.... customers spoil it..

My friend went also last week said same loud people speak arabic they didnt stay . I see also other comments on facebook. Another Arabic friend said he was there also month back he was ashamed to see his own people...

YOU CANT SEE THE SUNSET!

You must pay 500 per person to enter and you’ll be driven from downhill up to the cafe area, the voucher allows you to buy everything up to its price value ( keep in mind menu prices are missing 17.7% tax and service ) hence why I did the math ordering up to only 800 leaving space for that 177 left so I don’t cross our two ticket 1000bht price

We made this trip around sunset time, only to appear that the sun set on the other side, so from the cafe side no sunset just sea and some view, I’ve been to places so I’m not very impressed with the view but I read other reviews and seems everyone was into it So rating regarding sunset 0/5 View 3.7/5

The food and drinks were delicious, tried chicken biryani and busaba of sinae seemed like healthy refreshing drink and tried another drink starting with S forgot the name, blue

Overall if you’re going there for the sunset, disappointment await you

If you plan to sit till evening I recommend to sit in the area that has most light, cuz darker areas have so many flies once night set that I left immediately, SO MANY FLIES, i also saw a gecko walking around on the floor on the east wing where I was...

First, this is NOT a Starbucks, they just resale some of their products and use the logo. But with a higher price.

Second, you are absolutely NOT welcomed. Best case scenario, they will ignore you. 2 staff hidden behind their desk in parking lot, doing nothing, not even coming up to guests to say hello and greed the guests. They wait talking and laughing that you come to them...

The​ parking "manager" is just parroting what staff says... Doesn't lesson to people, just keep on repeating the same thing over and over without understanding anything about the situation. Useless employee.

Upstairs, at the bar, arrogance is the key word. How dare you disturbing a "Starbuck" staff... I'm so much more important than any other guest, so seat, wait and I will come back to you when I ll decide to do so...

View​​ is nice, just such a shame that this team is just killing the experience.

Unless you want to take a high probability of being disappointed, I would recommend to avoid. Plenty of beautiful coffee shop with a view around phuket.
