Sealay Sea Sparse enjoys a spectacular setting: the sea itself feels like part of the restaurant. Both the interior and exterior are beautifully designed, stylish yet welcoming, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a leisurely brunch.
Service
A heartfelt thank you to Zill, our waiter. His respect, attentiveness, and professionalism elevated the experience from good to exceptional. He was warm, thoughtful, and simply outstanding at what he does. The entire team deserves recognition for their smiles and genuine care, but Zill made the brunch truly memorable.
Cuisine
Every dish was bursting with freshness and flavor: • Tom Yum — bold, fragrant, perfectly balanced. • Crab — tender, succulent, melting with every bite. • Salmon — rich, juicy, and beautifully cooked. • Seasonal fruits — refreshing and naturally sweet. • Orange juice & mango smoothie — bright, refreshing, and the ultimate tropical touch.
Everything was so delicious that I ate more than I ever expected — an indulgence in the best sense.
Verdict

Read moreLiterally the most expensive meal I've had in all of Thailand and it was one of the smallest and kind of bland... waited an hour for food even though we only ordered 1 pad see yew. The food was tasty but finished in about two mouthfuls, and had very minimal flavour. There was heaps of staff running around to serve, and the restaurant was relatively quiet, I'm not sure why it had taken so long? The cocktail took an hour and a half and was literally TERRIBLE (taste, it was half full?, and it was room temperature/tepid). Thought we couldn't go wrong at a hotel restaurant but definitely proved us wrong.
Pros: the beer was icy cold, the staff were lovely.
Cons: small food portions for exorbent pricing, wait on food and drinks, awful cocktails.

The atmosphere is lovely — calm, relaxing, and enhanced by a beautiful sea view. You can sit outside and enjoy a peaceful dinner while taking in the scenery.
I would especially like to compliment the staff — Ton, Fang, and Janey. They were incredibly friendly, polite, and attentive. Their warm hospitality made our experience even more memorable.
