SeaSix — Restaurant in Ratsada

By far the best bar experience I’ve had in Thailand. If you like a chill, down to earth bar with a soft but lively atmosphere that you can make normal conversation in, stop looking and just come here. The drinks were amazing. 10/10, but be warned that the Japanese tea, Long Beach, and pink lady were much stronger than they appeared to be. Now, hours later, I still feel the effects of the damned Japanese tea. Hiding behind the innocuous veneer of a tall green drink was 4 shots and a healthy dose of melon liqueur. Despite how strong it really was, it was still unreasonably good tasting. It wasn’t until I was halfway through it that I realized her dirty secret, but by then it was too late to stop what was to come. The bartender, who also happens to be the owner, is a real G and also hooked us up with some amazing food. The pink lady had a perfectly incorporated egg white to create a creamy, rich texture and beautiful flavor. The shrimp & squid with garlic pepper was delicious and the chicken with garlic pepper was so juicy and tender while also having a perfectly crisp breaded shell. Be warned though, the pad see ew is not spicy. If you enjoy Thai spice, be aware of that.

Speaking of the bartender/owner, he’s a real homie. Nice conversation and he even recommended a spot to eat and some things to do in Phuket. I don’t quite know how to pronounce or spell his name, but it sounded like mom/mon/mun? If you’re in Phuket, give him all your love and support. He deserves every bit of it. He alone makes all the drinks and plays all the music, and he even let me play some of my favorite songs to get blasted to.

I omitted how much I spent per person from this review because I, admittedly, ordered an inordinate amount of food and drink which no normal person should consume in one sitting. That said, a cocktail, any from an extensive list, costs 170thb regardless of how much alcohol is in it and food was 90-120thb. I’ve come out the other side a poorer man, but I don’t...
