Hidden Sushi Spot Worth Finding! 🍣
Sumo Sushi is a tiny, hidden gem in a quiet Phuket Town neighborhood. At first, I thought Google Maps was wrong—only houses around! But nope, it’s tucked inside a small home, giving off serious Tokyo alley vibes.
The space is cozy, manga-themed, and run by super friendly Thai owners. Only a few tables, so reservations are a must!
🔥 What we ate: 🍣 Salmon Usuzukuri – A must for salmon lovers! 🥗 Hiyashi – Crunchy seaweed salad with ikura, so refreshing! 🌶️ Tuna Labzeb – Thai-style laab with raw tuna, interesting twist! 🔥 Hokkaido Rolls – Scallops, salmon, cream cheese, fish roe—loaded and delicious! 🍱 Sumo Roll – Packed with salmon, ikura, crab stick & cream cheese. 🥑 Avocado Rolls – Creamy avocado + unagi = perfection!
Portions are HUGE (maki rolls come in 4 big pieces). Prices are fair for the quality, but expect a more Western-style sushi with a bit of cream cheese. Didn’t try their Nigiri this time—next visit for sure! Oh, and uni lovers, they got you covered! 😉

Only a few tables, so good that it is not on a busy road, we can hide it.... We sure come back as it is our...
