Maew Som Coffee — Restaurant in Rawai

A customer nearby highly recommended this coffee stand, finally I decided to try. Got to say, the Americano is really one of the best I tried in Rawai. Unfortunately they only offer dairy-based lattes, so there’s not much choice for vegans. The beans tasted like high-quality robusta or very fruity Thai arabica, looking at the surface of the drink I didn’t see evidence of oily additives such as butter during roasting, so black coffee is probably vegan. Open from 630am, best tasting coffee I’ve had in Rawai. Recommend a walk up to Windmill point for an amazing view while sipping on your coffee

I had a latte for 50baht and an iced caramel latte for slightly more. The latte was perfect (although no latte art), good quality milk and strong espresso. The iced caramel latte was very sweet (as expected), but it had depth of flavour

The owner hand roasts the beans to perfection and freshly brews the coffee infront of you.

He has two lovely and friendly ladies working for him, they all speak english and are extremely caring and efficient.
