Tojo's Cafe & Bar — Restaurant in Rawai

We waited for ages for breakfast to be served. We order the breakfast and it was served with the smallest 2 pieces of bacon I ever seen. There was a toast in the dish but was serve without butter or jam. We also ordered a Thai dish called Rad-na which was supposed to be a noodle with gravy but it was a noodle 'soup' instead. The waitress is not super welcoming but she complete her tasks! I understand she is busy giving other people service. Chayen doesn't taste like chayen. It was more like milk with lot of sugar mixed. Orange juice isn't fresh but strawberry milkshake was perfectly good. I also saw a no smoking sign in a restaurant so one guy laying on one of the sunbath chair by the restaurant and start smoking weed. We sit next to that and smell the smoke which wasn't pleasant at all. Doesn't make any sense.... what is the point putting up sign when you can get all the smoke and smell still.... Anyway the place looks nice, clean, Instagram able, chill and more but if you want to go for food just run! Can we eat the food? Yes but do you want to eat...

Cafe looks actually not like in photo. It looks no one take care about cafe :) Anyway it looks nice. When all tables were dirty we waiting around 5 minutes for waiter to clean tables and chairs hahha Anyway beautiful. Beautiful space, many flowers, trees, nature. I really enjoyed 🙌🏽👑🤍 We order rice with chicken and basil and I order toast with peanut butter Toast with P.B. was really not tasty, not yammi. I don’t recommend it to try it for anybody. If bread will dry and crunchy, will be better. And on toast they put like 1 spoon of P.B…. Very expensive for what you get. An English breakfast tea is 80 baht and if you want milk it’s an extra 40 baht. That is more than you pay in expensive western countries, such as New Zealand.

The smoothie bowls were 230-250 baht, but lacked toppings and flavour. Really expensive for something very average.

The service was bad, but that seems to be commonplace in Phuket. Staff were rude, when asking menu questions.
