Naiyang Bay Restaurant ร้านอาหาร ในยาง เบย์ — Restaurant in Sakhu

Randomly walked in to also avoid the rain, decided just try, since the restaurant looked decent enough. Taste of the food were majorly mediocre which probably passable with a borderline 2.5 stars. What really made me write this review and gave it 1 star is because we ordered some scallops, it looked suspicious to me at first at how uniformed the scallops looked. Then when i bit into it, rubbery, fishy, and felt like fishball/fishcakes. As some one who cooks and know a scallops as well as the next chef, I asked and told them that if this was a scallop, a male staff was nice enough to still ask what I suppose is a floor manager. She told him to show me some photos of scallops and said it was real, i tore the scallops apart and showed them that is not how a scallop tears apart, her reply was these are real scallops which are order and imported from Australia, i mean fake is fake regardless where they are from. We still just ate it, paid for it regardless. I felt compelled to write the review simply because they didn't come clean about it, which honestly was unethical. I mean for 275 baht and 6 to 7 pieces, I wouldn't expect much since back in Singapore that would almost be the price for one or couple of real scallop depending on the type of restaurant.

Would I recommend. Short answer no. Is it bad. Not entirely. But the unethical and bad staff reply left a bad taste in my mouth.

I just put this photo here and you tell me if there is a scallop on earth that pulls apart to a chunky flake accompanied with pores.

P.S. This is for the restaurant I ate it all not because it was super delicious, but since we already ate a couple and I decided I should pay for it then, and since I was paying for it, I ain't gonna let my money go to waste. As much as I love dogs and delicious food will never come back and don’t recommend you

Edit: during the conversation with a manager I explained the whole situation and he never told me in the face that I’m toxic 🥰 The dishes and glasses in your “restaurant” have many cracks, even though I didn’t ask for a refund The comment was published more then a week it means you already served food to your customers from the same plate even after my conversation with you Manager

Amazing Pad Thai, Chicken Satay, and Excellent Service

I had the pleasure of dining at Naiyang Bar restaurant (5th time already) and the experience was always outstanding. Pad Thai was absolutely delicious. Chicken Satay was tender and flavorful and I fruit platter with different selection of fruits (pineapple,watermelon,mango and passion fruit).

What truly set this restaurant apart, however, was the service. The hosts were polite and attentive, making sure that every detail was taken care of. They greeted me every time warmly upon arrival and checked in regularly to ensure I am enjoying my meal. Their kindness added a great touch to an already perfect dining experience.

I highly recommend Naiyang Bay to anyone looking for a great meal and exceptional service.
