Thai vegetarian food at its best. If your looking for that beloved street food atmosphere and an abundance of freshly cooked vegetarian food, then I highly recommend going to Jae Lee in old town Bangkok. I ordered a plate of ‘Mee So Ba Pad Ka Shed’: A bed of thick noodles, lightly coated with a spicy tomato sauce, topped with mushrooms, tofu, chillis and, er, some green stalksI The flavours were absolutely amazing, the light tomato, garlic and spice, all blend perfectly with the earthy mushrooms, creamy tofu, and al dente noodles. I only spent 62 Baht which included a can of coke. I’m sure it should have been more so paid 100 Baht.

Tucked down a small side road, the live energy of local life fills the air. Pull up a stall at one of the rustic bars, or stand and watch as your dish is freshly cooked. The staff are super friendly and can often explain the dishes to...

Very down-to-earth dining experience. Decent food in general and the surprise of finding here the best fried rice I personally had in Thailand (not wet and has proper wok hei). The menu has English transliterations of dish names, which is not very helpful. There are pictures but then most items seem more or less variations of the same thing, so making an order is mostly an act of faith.

The owners seem nice but they just never smile and they act a little confused when you try to get their attention to order or pay. I was here twice and I honestly don't know what to make of that. Dining is literally on the edge of a side road (you're not even on the sidewalk), so you'll get the occasional truck sneaking a foot behind your back. Adds to the...

You can’t miss this place if you’re looking for vegan street food in Bangkok 🌱

It’s very clean, with seating available so you can comfortably enjoy your meal. It’s a family-run business, and while I don’t understand Thai, the menu includes powerful images of animals being killed for consumption, showing their strong commitment to veganism.

I honestly enjoyed everything I ordered, and they also sell vegan and vegetarian snacks. The ones I tried were delicious.

The food is cheap, flavorful, and probably the cleanest street food I’ve ever had. If you’re in BKK, this...

I was super stocked to find this family-run vegetarian food place in the middle of Chinatown. They have a variety menu which are in full Thai so I didn’t quite understand it. I went straight to order the vegan pork noodle soup which was not ideal in the middle of hot day and yes they only have open air seating. But I still really enjoyed it! 🍜💕😋 I also got the cookies and puff pastry filled with mushroom. The cookies are nice, but the puff pastry not as I expected it to be. I highly recommend you make a visit if you are around Chinatown. 😊
