HKN Hong Kong Noodle — Restaurant in Samphanthawong Subdistrict

In our last trip, we tried 陈点心, this year we decided to try the dim sum shop opposite 陈点心 ～ 香港面云吞. The 云吞面was nice, springy noodles (without the kee alkaline’ smell👍), but the portion was really pathetic (一口面😔）. Fried radish cake was good, crispy and served hot. We did not order their Har Gao as the shaomai was a disappointment. Gu chai kueh was also not to my liking, not the typical version filled with gu chai and dried shrimp only. I specifically asked for no pork to be brought to my table. When ordering I checked if anything has pork. I was told no. Later after I eat I speak with someone else who told me that some dumplings I ate had pork. Very very very frustrating. These people couldn’t care less and are the least helpful Restaurant staff I have ever seen. Would not recommend because the people here have such dry and boring personalities. We had the best meal here in Chinatown. Hidden away but not to be missed. Nothing fancy but good food.

Ihad the egg noodle with veggies and Mike had 2 bowls of the wonton soup with Pork wonton and bbq pork. We ordered the golden bun with egg and wow, it was so good. Like a dessert. Never had it before but was so pleasantly surprised.
